The first guy to come out, Will K. was an hour and a half late. Never received a courtesy call stating the tech would arrive late or an eta, I the customer had to keep calling for updates. When I called I needed an aqua stat replaced and my boiler to be serviced. He replaced the aqua stat but had set the temp on it to 250 (supposed to be 180). Instead of finishing the job and taking responsibility for not doing his job properly he proceeded to tell his boss that he told me the customer how to finish the job and laughed at my husband when he had a question about his services. When I had spoken with Jessica who answers the phone at Dales when you call she like Will had tried to take the responsibility and blame off of them and say that she wasn’t here so she doesn’t know what happened essentially putting the blame on me as the customer. When a new tech was sent out he seemed a little more knowledgeable but still inept to the job. There is a pump on my boiler that he stated might be bad because he put something on the bottom of it and stated that it should spin which it did not. He stated a new pump would run in the price range of 300 not including installation fees. A new pump was actually 70 dollars so at their price they make out way ahead by overcharging people. They took advantage of me and my husband when we stated we know nothing about boilers and that’s why we were looking for their guidance and honesty. A simple apology for being late, not finishing the job and accountability for the staff by Jessica would have went miles. I wouldn’t recommend, I know there is a heating place in grantsburg that could also help with your needs (the township uses) so you don’t get treated in the same manner we did. Read moreOk and now almost a week later, they have not called to setup the appt. After sending out a mailer looking for customers... soooo... this would be a learning opportunity as to why you are not getting new customers.
So far we have not received service... they sent out a mailer, obviously trying to drum up business, so I went on their website which has a scheduling request program. I selected my desired day and time for an appointment, then received an e-mail saying "once Jennifer Thomson accepts the request you will get an email" (thus, the system received my request and I had entered my email correctly) so 3 days later we called to ask if the time requested was going to work or not as we had not received email confirmation. The response was that they just received the request yesterday so they had not had time to look into it... hmmm... according to the timestamps they did receive the request 3 days ago and still did not reach out to us a day after they say they received it. So something is amiss here. Cannot say anything about their heat and AC service but their online scheduling is clearly inefficient. He was after getting money from us when he never replaced the filter as he claims. Secondly we called in on Monday morning and spoke to a female customer service who never had a sense of sympathy for human beings probably because we're black. We told her that our heat stopped working in the middle of the night and her unprofessional response was $250 dollar deposit before sending a technician irrespective of our kids staying without heat in the middle of the cold.
