GameStop is always on point. There's a handful of stores, another being Best buy, that I can never really say anything negative about other than some really specific issues to that I can think of that I found in multiple GameStops and always at mall locations.
These specific locations unfortunately hired a manager who just has to get home because the day was that rough inside the air conditioned environment, so please stop closing 10-15 mins early. Some people just got out of work and barely have enough time to drive the distance it takes to get there cuz I can park the inside and just make it there 15 minutes before closing only to find a gate pulled down and an employee in there counting the register.
And might I add the only store in the mall with their gate closed doing this. Other stores surrounding the GameStops in the malls take note they notice too. That is very frustrating for the consumer and I've come up to the gate along with other consumers walking up to the gate to see that somebody, by somebody I mean the closing manager just had to get home and closed it down early. Unless your wife is having a baby and you got to go, please stop that nonsense. You make the company look bad when it's a great company and usually sets the standard for great service.
So this location has Knowledgeable friendly employees, clean, organized and in-stock products including a good variety of assorted Funko Pops.
Although GameStop is not the place to think that you may get a Chase Funko Pop, still a good place to find pops for your collection. I've heard chatter that employees snatch these chase other hard to find exclusives or diamond pops up before the even hit the floor. You'll know which stores really do this when you ask them questions about Funko pops and they literally pretend not to know what they are they laid on thick because they know what they're doing is wrong.
So that's another thing that is a negative reflection on the store. Look see I said nothing negative would say but apparently I lied because I give you two. But other than that I swear, I hope GameStop never goes out of business.
That's it for now take care and thanks for...
   Read moreDear GamStop,
Just want to touch base on an store employee called Alexis 624115. I go to this GameStop almost on a weekly basis to buy everything from Lounge fly bags for my wife, to T-shirts and video games since we are true gamers. I use to collect Pokémon cards when I was a child and stopped collecting in the early 2000s and left to the military. Now, instead of collecting Pokémon cards since this scalping situation is horrendous, I decided to get into Magic the Gathering since the new FF set just came out. When I get to the store, Alexis tells me that the new packs are one per customer. I then asked Alexis if my wife, being that she was in the car and has her very own pro membership, needed to come in and pick one up since it’s one per customer. Alexis tells me that they doubt it because shes buying it for me, her husband. I then try to get better clarification from a different store employee named Dante and was told they can deny any sell to anyone they deem are scalpers… literally called me, one of the most loyal GameStop customers that they see in a weekly basis a scalper. This was my first time ever buying any cards from this store and thinking I could collect like the old days, to not only having to go against scalpers, but now the store employees. I don’t know or understand the common sense people use now, but companies with employees like this are and will lose loyal and true customers along with profit. This store can keep everything as I will be returning most things bought here since I’m a scalper and that's what they do. This GameStop is GameOver for me and my wife.
Update: My wife and I ended up going in the next day and spoke to the manager Jonathan, ultimately resolving the issue we just had. I bought a few things in store because of how understanding and apologetic he was, reigniting the fire I was losing in the gaming and card industry. Needless to say I'm not going to be getting in the card business anymore just because of how bad of a taste I got with scalpers and employees. Thank you Jonathan for being what many store managers and...
Read moreI have been coming here for the last 20 years, I have been loyal to this store, and today is the last day I will ever give GameStop my business. I decided to call before I showed up to do a trade in and I explained to the employee what I was trading, he said “sounds good, we’ll take care of you, come on in!” So I show up and the first employee I saw as I walk in immediately sighed and rolled their eyes at me, then I go up to the counter when it’s my turn and they don’t even acknowledge me, then one of the employees rudely says “your gonna be waiting a while you know” and I asked how long and they said over an hour and a half. I asked why I had to wait that long and they just said rudely that they were busy. (THERE WERE 6 EMPLOYEES IN THE STORE AND I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER) I told the guy that I called ahead to make sure I could show up and trade my items, then he said with a nasty tone “You can’t reserve your time here, that’s just not how it works!” And I just simply left. I wasted gas going all the way there just for them to disrespect me and refuse to serve a loyal customer and I am a rewards member! GameStop just lost my business permanently, and this isn’t the first time that these employees here have been rude and clueless. I have been coming here for 20 years and giving my business loyally, and now I am done with GameStop. GameStop will never, and I mean never get my business again because of the repetitive incompetence of the employees they choose to hire. Never come to this location or any GameStop for that matter! Go to M&M games across the street or best buy or Walmart or target, go anywhere else! Never go to GameStop!!! 0/10...
