First I want to apologize for those of you that had terrible experiences shopping at our store. We always hear the customer side, but never the employee. (Former employee)
I would like to ask the woman that wants to call us âghettoâ to go look up the definition⌠youâve shopped there on more than one occasion so we all canât be that bad. My sales associate was telling me the price not you because I saw it in a box before we put it out and I wanted the dress but NOT for $60. As far as you thinking my sales associate and myself were being snootie for informing you of the price of a dress while taking it down was an issue is ridiculous. You would never walk into coach or Gucci and say an associate was being snootie for telling you the price of a bag would you? No one assumed you couldnât afford it, but from our experience shoppers have told us it was ridiculously priced , not worth it, and would have us put the dress back. The dress was heavy too so no one really wanted to have to take all those dresses down to find your size and then you not even get it. Our fault of course not yours, but Iâm just saying. We were just doing our job as a sales person and giving you information about the item you couldâve potentially purchased (and didnât purchase I may add). Instead you left it with all the strings pulled out and tried to just throw it on the hanger. None of us that work there are snootie and are very humble. We are not sales people that will sale you an item just for a sale. Youâll get blunt, honesty. Some like it some donât. We cater to the demographic that comes into the store which is why we have certain types of employees as well. Employees can have conversations amongst ourselves. Even if itâs about an item you want to see. It wasnât in a disrespectful manner in any way shape or form. We can also express our feelings about the dress. Nothing was unprofessional except maybe my delivery to you about the price seeing as you assumed that I thought you couldnât afford it. My mistake. Iâll do better on my end.
âŚthe woman with the issue of the price of the shorts⌠every store purchases their goods from somewhere else. Weâre not in the back making our own product. To see a return on your investment you hike the price up a bit to make some of your money back. Thatâs with any company. How else are they supposed make back what theyâve spent. The only fault we have here is that an employee was either not trained properly or informed correctly about removing the other companyâs price from the clothing so we could avoid an issue like the one you had. Madrag is not the only place that does this and itâs sad that thatâs what you based your review off of. My customer service was great on the other hand and I even had a conversation personally with you how I agreed with you about you being displeased with the price hike. You have the choice on whether to buy or not and weâre not forcing your hand. Im glad you didnât get the shorts and hopefully will have a better experience the next time you...
Read moreItâs really hard for me to leave a bad review, but the customer service here is just awful. What makes it worse is that Iâm always really kind to people, so itâs disappointing when that kindness is met with complete indifference. And the worst part? I actually like their clothesâso I end up putting up with the most careless, unhelpful service more often than not.
They see you with your hands full, struggling to carry everything, and no one offers to helpânot even a simple âLet me hold that for you.â Just now, on Tuesday evening (April 22nd, around 9 PM), I had been shopping for nearly an hour and was the only customer left as they were closing. I politely asked to use the restroomâwhich I know they have, and not just for emergencies, because Iâve seen them allow people in the back before with no problemâbut they simply didnât feel like letting me, even though I clearly expressed it was an emergency. There was no reasonâjust a lack of care. Honestly, I felt like walking out and leaving everything behind, but I didnât want to punish myself after spending so much time finding what I liked, so I went ahead and made the purchase. Still, I left with a really bad taste in my mouth.
Most of the time (unless management is around), the treatment is cold and dismissiveâbut today was by far the worst. Itâs a real shame. The clothes are cute, but having to endure that kind of attitude just to shop here is incredibly disappointing. These girls act like they couldnât care lessâand...
Read more⌠not really sure where to begin , today my mother went in to shop for some leggings ⌠the clothes are beautiful and nicely priced . Iâm guessing the store manager or hiring manager came up to my mom who is lightskin with curly hair and asked her if she wanted to work there ( apparently they are hiring ) I had put in an application December 26th 2024 and never heard back . My mom told her that she knew someone who needed a job which was me her daughter ⌠I called up there and she quickly tells me they are not hiring as they have a full staff ? Weird when she told my mom they were . And I was told to make a new application and sheâd pass it off to her boss . If I have to go through all this trouble just to get a position there then no thank you . Judging people based off how they look is not the way you utilize your position . I wouldnât apply here because lying and being shady seems like a problem from the start with...
