I really wish I could bring myself to giving Audio Advice a higher rating but I can't. I have gone in here several times over the past few months planning a dedicated home theater for a home build, and with needs for a business that is under construction. My experience with each visit is inconsistent. I have had some truly exceptional experiences where the level of service and knowledge was top notch, which is why I am not giving this a one star. However, more times than not, the staff seem very disinterested in helping. I have called the store 4 times on different days and times with no answer. I had a card from a sales rep with his direct line on it, no answer. A week later I get a text apologizing for the delay and asking how he could help. I messaged him back, no response after several days. I called the online sales line, the guy had no clue about anything home theater related and took my information and said someone would reach out to me, I still have not received a call from anyone. I took time to drive across town to go in to the store and ask if they could get a projector for me. The guy behind the counter had a very smug look on his face and leaned back in his chair while I tried to have a conversation with him as if I was bothering him. Before I could finish asking my questions he just shakes his head and says no, we dont carry that. Can you get that? He shrugs his shoulders, asks a co-worker and says no. The projected I was asking for has a retail price of $3,600. I need 12 of them. I inform him of that, all but giving him $40,000 out of my pocket to help. He never asks what the projector is for, why I need 12, if I would be open to looking at another option. No effort at all. Today, you all lost the easiest $40,000 sale possible. I think ill start shopping other places for my business, and for my personal home theater. Please, train your staff better, or get people who want to work. They are costing you a...
Read morePopped in to the Charlotte location last Saturday to discuss a possible upgrade for my front two channels in my HT and a possible second two channel system. The fellas on duty took a moment to listen to my situation then let me walk and browse while they looked into possibilities. Basically browsing their own site for suggestions as best I could tell. They went straight to Mac integrateds with HT bypass though I never mentioned wanting an integrated in the path. Feels like they heard my potential budget and went online to see how much they could wring out of me without actually adding any benefit. No discussion of anything specific, just straight sales/commission hunting. I saw that they had some KEF speakers on the floor and mentioned that I noticed that was new. I mentioned the Reference Ones and the salesman jokingly mentioned the Reference 5's. This furthered my belief that the guys on the floor really care about their rip, not so much the customer. Anyhow, I found an open box Node marked down to $450 from $599 so I grabbed that. Sadly the guy that checked me out (no names) figured he'd offer me a 'deal' on the open box item. He offered to take $499 for it. His counterpart looked a little chagrined because he realized the item was tagged for $450. I politely showed the tag and paid my $450+tax and went across the street and bought a couple of Stickley chairs instead. Two stars for the deal on the streamer. Nothing for the in store experience. Nice job losing a job and some sales, gentlemen. Also, the store's a mess. Signs off kilter, inventory all over the floor. I get it, it's mostly online these days but zero pride in the store and lack of customer focus/priority on commissions means I'm not using this firm for anything other than perhaps occasionally shopping for item box items. I'm be sure to check the...
Read moreI enterd the Audio Advice store interested in a quality Home Entertainment System for my family. I was confused about what type equipment to purchase. I had been researching the internet but all the articles or ideas seemed to be confusing maybe even slanted to me. I sat down with Dustin Clemens and began to discuss the information I had gleammed from the articles I had read. I discussed with him the ideas of what I was or thought I was interested in. Dustin shared with me the FACTS about Home Entertainment Systems. I knew at this point what I thought I understood was far from resolute. Dustin took the time to show and discuss what products would meet my needs. Dustin took the time to lead me through this process, alot of Q&A to direct me to the products that would meet my expectations. Thank You Dustin for your patience. I made the decision to follow Dustin's advice. I am glad I went to the professionals. I purchased the new entertainment system, then scheduled the install. I met two more professionals from the Audio Advice Team Steve Walker and Mike Patton. They arrived at my house early to do the install, EARLY?? These guys were meticulous about their work. What a breath of fresh air these days!!!!! They completed system install as promised, my satisfaction was of utmost importance to them. The result was an organized, clean, professional install that I could not be more pleased with. I would recommend that if your searching for a new or upgrade to your your entertainment system that you start here at Audio Advice in Pineville NC. They will save you a huge amount of wasted time and confusion in the pursuit of your Home Entertainment needs. Thanks Guys!! I...
