I have been a Marvel fan since 1980 and when Marvel Legends action figures came out after the turn of the century I was instantly hooked! These figures were and are hard to find especially during the Toybiz era but one day I took a chance, stopped in the Shadyside location and much to my amazement SW had Marvel Legends. At the time the figs retailed for $9.99 but SW, understandably, charged $11.95 which was a small price to pay. Hasbro has since taken over the line and a collector receives a lot less for a lot more but such is life in the US. I stopped into the Squirrel hill location after not frequenting the stores in almost a decade and found that SW had, once again to my amazement, had a ton of Legends. Exciting right? Not so. The figures retail at Target between $24 to $28, which is nuts, but here at SWs they were $34 to $35 and about 60% of these figures can be found at Ollie’s for $10, the Eternals line can’t be given away but are the same at $35! Don’t go to Randles for Hasbro products. Play the waiting game even at the big stores because the price...

I used to consider this store a highlight of my week, especially for the casual, free-to-play Magic events. It was a great community hub, but that has unfortunately changed due to recent staff changes. The new employees are incredibly unprofessional and have made the atmosphere completely unwelcoming.

They are condescending and rude, often acting as experts while demonstrating they are, in fact, subpar players. Prices for products are also hyper-inflated, and when I mentioned this, a staff member snatched the item out of my hand, rolled their eyes, and said, 'better go buy it there then. See ya.'

The customer service here is now abominable. It's a shame, as this used to be a great spot. I can no longer recommend...

They have a wonderful selection, but a terrible return policy. My daughter received a gift in SW Randall bag that we know exactly the time and date of the purchase and who purchased it. The day after it was purchased we went to exchange it and they would not exchange it. They were very strict that without a gift receipt they wouldn't exchange it. I knew the date and the person purchased it and they still would not exchange it. For a store that price himself on customer service I had a terrible experience there. I would not give them any of...
