The PNC Carousel — Local services in Pittsburgh

I went with my 2 year old daughter on a Sunday morning. The token machine was out of order with a sign saying to purchase tokens from a nearby restaurant. The restaurant windows were shuttered and had closed signs, so I walked over to the ride operator to ask if there was another way to purchase the tokens. The woman operating the ride was incredibly rude to me, saying she “had nothing to do with that”, and also saying that “unless you have a pass there is nothing I can do.” Overall it was a very unpleasant interaction, I apologized for upsetting her (although I still don’t know how I did), and went on with my day. I will not be returning to the carousel if this is how they treat customers who just want to take their kids...

Visited for the first time this weekend with my grandkids and they loved it. I want to commend the woman who was running the ride - my grandson stood up in the little tub ride while the carousel was moving and I chastised him for it. When the ride stopped, she went over and very gently told him that he would get hurt if he did that and he had to follow the rules and "keep his bum on the seat". She was so sweet and gentle to him about it, I was impressed with...

We had such a fun time on the carousel today! I brought my kids and we got caught in a downpour while on the ride. We waited out the storm on the carousel and the staff were wonderful- joking and entertaining my kids...
