I recently had a disappointing experience at this location that left me frustrated and unlikely to return. I came in with a receipt and the original barcode label for an item I had purchased, simply hoping to return and immediately re-purchase the same item using a gift card I had forgotten during the original transaction (which was the day prior). I wasn’t trying to exchange or switch items—just to apply the gift card to the purchase.
While I understand that stores have policies around returns, I was surprised that they refused to help at all, even with proof of purchase and no intention of misusing the system. What made it worse was how I was treated: the staff were dismissive, unhelpful, and ultimately told me to leave the store over simply trying to apply my gift card. I did try to reach out to customer service, however, I was told any returns or purchases are at the store’s discretion.
It’s not unreasonable to expect respectful treatment when asking a fair question, especially when you’re being honest and polite. Unfortunately, this experience showed me that customer service is not a priority here. I will be choosing not to return to TJ Maxx...
Read moreThere was a white blonde employee here who was extremely racist. I was shopping Friday afternoon, as I regularly do. Most of the employees and male manager are really nice, but the white blonde woman was racist and rude to a different degree. She was telling us to pick up clothes off the floor that we had nothing to do with while we were shopping in that aisle. If it were a white woman, she would never said it. Isn’t that her job as an employee to organize and arrange? We didn’t even drop anything, we were just shopping. I will personally be speaking to Aaron, the male manager, regarding this incident. This girl employee will cause this store a significant loss of business and she won’t be able to make it anywhere in life with such a racist attitude. I would never shop at this location again unless she apologizes. If she’s not willing to do what her job entails, and instead exudes racism and rudeness, she should stay home...
Read moreSold me a $100 counterfeit fragrance. The box was legit. The bottle and fragrance were not. The bottle label, 1st line, has POLO RELPH UAUREN. The 5th line has PARFUMS RALPHLADREN PARIS. See photos, real bottle on the left, fake bottle on the right.
I didn't open the package right away. I returned after 50 days. The store manager said it's not within 30 days so a store credit is all I can get. She didn't even bother to look at the bottom of the bottle. I refused store credit. I would rather lose $100 rather than cave to a $55 billion dollar company selling counterfeit merchandise.
I suggest that you train your staff to listen to the customer and let them explain the situation instead of talking over them. Salty attitudes as soon as I walked up to...
