We have used TJ multiple times for trips to Hawaii and NYC and he has always done a fantastic job with lots of attention to detail in those trips.

Back in the spring, friends of ours asked us if we wanted to join them in touring Scotland for two weeks. They gave us their itinerary, the places they were staying (all Air BnB), so I was tasked to find places close to where they were staying and book flights out of Detroit (our friends were flying out of DC). So I found hotels near where they were staying and then had an epiphany: What can TJ do?

So I called him, showed him my reservations and basically asked to match the budget that I had laid out. TJ did a fantastic job upgrading my hotel in Edinburgh and combined my existing reservations into the overall package and got a more desirable flight going in and out.

But wait, there’s more! He also added private transportation for pickup at Edinburgh airport and also return transportation to the airport after our trip from a local hotel. He called me during the trip (even with the 5 hour time difference) to ensure we had the details of the transportation pickups and just general check ins.

TJ also included an extra airport hotel the night before the trip back that I had not accounted for in my budget. He matched my budget with all these extras! He also was integral in resolving a billing issue with one of the hotels on our trip.

My friends often ask me why I continue to use the services of a travel agent despite the ubiquity of online travel sites. My response is always the same. TJ helped us book our honeymoon for Thailand (we went the end of September). We had to almost cancel our trip (do to health reasons) and he was working with us, booking our “puddle jumping” flights the night before we left. We went to BANKOK, PHUKET, and CHAING MAI. Each place was beautiful and unique in its own way. We could always ALWAYS get ahold of TJ while planning the trip AND while on it. He was accommodating and very personable. He worked in our price range and set up “little surprises” along the trip as well. The hotels he set up for us were remarkable. They definitely didn’t disappoint! TJ was an amazing travel agent to work with. When he says, “I’ll be with you for your whole trip”, he means it. I would message him about something at 3am our time, AND HE WOULD RESPOND AND fix the issue/answer the question. He would message us before we even needed to ask with all the info we needed for our flights and transportation. He even called the hotels for us when we thought we left things behind.
