Calloway's Nursery — Local services in Plano

My mom and I decided to redo the backyard and wanted to have Calloway's come out give us a design and quote because we know they do great work and the plants are guaranteed. This interaction started off rocky to say the least. My mom gave them a firm budget and the first person we saw sent her images that she fell in love with and then the quote...that was double the budget. My mom was honestly crushed. They said they would send out someone else, that person called 5 minutes before the scheduled time to say she couldn't come out because it was raining and she wasn't allowed to. It wasn't raining and she lied. At this point we were over it. She called Anthony, his ability to listen and understand the frustration got my mom to agree to let one more person come out. If it didn't work out we were going to request a refund... Anthony sent us Emily P. She's unbelievably professional and kind. She came out on time and listened patiently as my mom aired her grievances. She walked the yard, took new pictures and said she'd come back with another person to take measurements and get us the most accurate quote possible while also lowering it. She has followed through thoroughly, professionally and in a timely manner on every communication. Today she showed us the new concept. Due to the work we want done it was still slightly over budget but she took the time to explain the itemized breakdown and options to help lower it. I know this is a lengthy review but I think when someone does their job really well they deserve recognition and she has done an amazing job so far. She saved the day and my mom and I went from extremely frustrated to excited to be working with Calloway's again. Thank you Emily...

They helped us choose the best plants for our space 🌞🏡, explained proper care techniques 🚿🪴, and even shared recommendations for soil and fertilizers 🌱💚. While Calloway's is no "budget nursery", they provide a level of service and loyalty to their customers that you would be challenged to find elsewhere. Additionally, the products they stock, from plants to pots to plant care products, are of great quality. The staff here is very knowledgeable, and always happy to help you get what you're looking for or figure out what you might like. I have even seen staff showing customers how to pot their plants and doing it for them when they've finished with their shopping. Whether you're a green thumb or someone that struggles to grow weeds, Calloway's has someone to help you and something you'll probably really love.
