I wanted to start by saying that I genuinely think the concept of this business is fantastic. The experience itself had a lot of potential, and I can see how it could be a lot of fun if executed correctly. Unfortunately, the behavior of the staff severely impacted the overall experience, making what could have been a great time feel frustrating and unsafe.
The Staff: Unprofessional & Unsafe
The biggest issue was definitely the staff. From the very beginning, it was clear that they were not properly trained or coached on how to manage and interact with guests during the games. The staff was actively shooting at us while we were in the middle of playing, which felt not only unprofessional but also unsafe. I understand the nature of the game, but the staff should have known better than to engage in that way, especially when we were not expecting it. Several of our team members were even hit in the face, which is a big concern when you’re supposed to be having fun in a controlled environment.
We felt like this whole situation could’ve been avoided. The risk of injury would have been much lower if the staff had been more mindful and had focused on facilitating the experience rather than becoming part of the game in a dangerous way. If we wanted a casual, less structured experience, we could have easily bought Nerf guns and gone to a park—much safer, and it wouldn't have been as disruptive.
Lack of Clear Instructions & Equipment Issues
The other major issue was the lack of clear communication and preparation. We had to find our own PPE (personal protective equipment), which was not explained or provided up front. There was no guidance on where to find it or how to properly use it. This could have been a safety concern, especially when dealing with equipment like this. PPE should be something that’s not only readily available but explained thoroughly before the game starts.
Additionally, there was confusion around ammunition, and the staff didn’t seem to care much about explaining the rules or answering questions about how the game worked. There was also no clear explanation of how to handle the equipment or what to do if something went wrong.
Staff Attitude & Complaints
To make matters worse, the staff’s attitude was less than ideal. After we finished our game, they seemed upset about having to clean up after us. I understand that every business has its responsibilities, but the way they complained was unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable. We even offered them food after we finished, trying to be courteous, but the way they handled everything left a bad taste.
The Potential Is There, but the Execution Is Not
I still believe that this place could be a fun and exciting venue for team events or just a group of friends looking for an adrenaline-filled day. The games themselves were enjoyable, and the setup has a lot of potential. But it’s clear that the current state of the business—especially the staff and how they interact with guests—needs a lot of work.
If the staff were better trained on safety protocols, customer service, and game facilitation, this could be an excellent experience. Unfortunately, right now, it feels more like a risky, disorganized event that relies too much on a fun concept without the necessary attention to detail. Until the staff improves, I don’t feel comfortable returning or booking an event here.
Overall, while I did have fun, the experience was ultimately overshadowed by the lack of professionalism, safety concerns, and poor...
Read moreJust left this place. We came on a Sunday, and while the facility seems great for parties, there definitely isn't much focus on anything aside from that. They do have a bounce house and a few arcade games, but I would not recommend anyone pay to attend unless you are with a group, or event (birthday party, etc). Came with my child, paid forty bucks for him, and after one hour, the mood drastically changed, as apparently, there was a birthday party happening when we first arrived that ended. Immediately after, the crew began to clean up, vacuum, shut down tables...This was problematic for me, as I was forced to move all of my food and drinks from a large table to a two-top table since the larger tables are for large parties only. I was not aware of this when arriving. I left soon after, because trying to enjoy the little entertainment they had NOT catered to large groups was no fun while trying to step around employees vacuuming and mopping, despite the fact they did not close for another three hours. They also kept staring at me and my son, making it clear to me they were ready for us to leave, so I assumed that the one other family there besides us were familiar with a few of the employees, as they spent alot of time playing with one another, and the other family seemed comfortable being there, and were not given odd looks. I feel as if we would have been better off going to Chuck E. Cheese. Three stars because my son really enjoyed the hour he spent playing with other kids before the party ended, and although we were made to feel awkward being there after only an hour, they didn't exactly force us to leave. Also, the bathrooms...
Read moreWe had our son's 5th birthday party here and did a package for 15 kids for $525. The party package indicates table covers, plates, utensils and a large party table would be provided. When I spoke with a representative over the phone, I was told we would have the largest table because I indicated that there are 15 kids and several adults (over 25) that would be joining. We were disappointed to just receive one table to put all of the food, drinks, goodie bags and sweets while kids tried to find room to eat on it. The adults had to stand and I had to repeatedly ask for utensils. Please note that cups are not provided so we had to go out and purchase those. When I asked if there was any way we could use another table as there were several available, I was told it would cost another $200. We had younger kids in our group and they were limited to one small bounce house in which older kids were playing so please note the pictures of other amenities are for private parties and not open to the public/shared parties. Many of the nerf guns and darts were defective and several of the parents just started asking for a working gun at the armory. There is another armory but of course that is for an additional cost. Lastly, there was a lack of supervision in the nerf area. We had several kids complain about older children kicking them out of areas, being too aggressive but that is not the fault of the facility. Overall, our party guests and I were disappointed, we had to deal with limited space, our kids getting bullied and random kids approaching our one party table to grab food and snacks. Definitely, not an ideal birthday for...
