I normally do not write bad reviews, but I had to make an exception in this case. I love the food at this establishment. One employee, Erlin Rivas, who works at the counter and cooks the pupusas, does not provide good customer service. I've had several RUDE encounters with this employee. She's given me an attitude because I was 15 minutes late to pick up my order, as well as being rude, and disrespectful in the manner she spoke to me recently, making me feel bad, traumatized, etc. I've been a loyal customer for years, bringing friends and family here who have become customers. I've been respectful, tipped, and even agreed to pay the 3% extra charge for using a credit card for payment (even though they are not forthcoming in letting you know about this extra charge). Erlin needs to realize WE are the customers who pay for her wages, etc. We should be treated with RESPECT and APPRECIATION. I wanted to share the less-than-favorable encounter that I experienced about one week and a half ago without going into further details. I will NO LONGER patronize this establishment because of...
Read moreWell if you want the good homemade stuff without having to marry into a family...these little back-of-a-gas-station places are the way to go.
Not sure, didn't ask, but I'm guessing they are Honduran or El Salvadoran because of the pupusas on the menu. (They are delicious by the way).
Everything we tried was fantastic. Tacos are pretty small at $3 each and the pupusas are really large at $3 each, so I guess it evens out. The freshly made red sauce they put on their heuvos rancheros was so good my kid was licking the plate. All the salsas and cilantro such that came with were good too.
A little more expensive than one would expect for a gas station taqueria, but the results were good.
Kinda crowded on a Sunday morning. Not speedy. Our order took 30min, but again, fortunately the flavor was worth it.
There are only like 12 chairs in the place so you'll want to get take out, and it is a gas station...and not a good gas station either...the kind where everything on the shelf has a thick layer of dust on it. Kinda gross.
Will be back to try other stuff...
Read moreMy husband and I were craving some Pupusas And Tacos, being that we're originally from Southern California it's been a little difficult at times to find that one place where the food just hits the spot. I found this place in Google and we decided to drive the 20 minutes to get there. I had no idea at first it was inside a gas station and I'm not going to lie I was a little skeptical at first. Well 20 minute drive we said let's just check it out and I'm so glad we did. The service was amazing and the Food was excellent 👌 exactly what we were looking for. I love how the lady was right in front of us getting down making the Pupusas from scratch. The Tacos de Lengua were to perfection, my son wanted the ham and egg breakfast plate and he left his plate clean and my other son got the torta which he ate. Needless to say the Pupusas are big and super filling we even ordered more to bring home for the week. I HIGHLY Recommend this place cause truthfully the best food is always in these little gas...
