FIRST AND FOREMOST, we have to say that the family attending this place is SUPER KIND-FRIENDLY, and they go above and beyond! We enjoyed our meals thanks to this peaceful and friendly environment created by each one. If you go, be kind, patient, and respectful with the family. They deserve kindness.
We live in Prosper, and driving to fuel our vehicle, we thought of the Pekín Duck from Morimoto (Disney Springs, Florida, Las Vegas, etc), so we searched, saw the pictures of this family business, and went.
We ordered two fried rice orders (with shrimp and beef), and the portions were huge (like a 10-inch” plate). We also ordered a won ton soup, and the portion was enough for the three of us, and still, we brought a portion home. The Pekin duck comes with “Asian pancakes,” which are SO DELICIOUS.
I must mention that there were few tables with Asian families dining in, which indicates -to us-, that this is a genuine food place to go.
While the location is kind of far, WE desire to come back.
Last but not least. Prices are affordable considering the portions, the attention and the fact that they have PEKIN...
Read moreAwesome Chinese Cuisine is truly awesome. Found this gem thanks to my wife and we decided to treat ourselves after a long week and to ring in the New Year.
We ordered the beef flat noodle, beef and wonton noodle soup, and Peking duck.
Beef flat noodle had a really nice taste, noodle was soft and had really nice texture. Beef slices were juicy and was delicious.
We’ve been feeling under the weather and the beef and wonton noodle soup hit the spot. Broth was on the lighter side but had really good flavor and the noodles also were soft. The beef and wonton was excellent and tasted amazing.
Last, but definitely not least…the Peking duck. I am not a duck connoisseur by any means, but it was so damn good. The flavor and juiciness of the duck stood out. Skin was really good and the sauce was the perfect addition to the dish. We were back and forth with a seafood dish, but after seeing the pictures and seeing other reviews, we were glad to choose it.
Long review, but check this place out if you...
Read moreDid not like some of the sauce like orange but the beef with scallions was very good but a little light on the scallions (it was mostly onion). Egg drop soup was really good, if you add lots of salt. The egg with shrimp is a world class dish, my 4 year old actually ordered it to my surprise. She ordered because of egg i think but ended up preferring the perfectly cooked shrimp. The black fungus salad was certainly unique but felt like i was eating seaweed minus the fishy flavor, the honey walnut shrimp was tasty. We also got a dish with bamboo, beef and mushroom. I did not like the brown sauce or the shiitake mushrooms as they were chewy (as if they had been frozen, possibly). The prices here are a bit high the shrimp dish was the most expensive at $18 but worth it in this case. So the dishes for me seem to be very hit or miss.. if the dish is not good it should not be on the menu or else you risk bad reviews due to...
