Chelles Macarons — Restaurant in Plano

These macarons are absolutely delicious. I adore how colorful and creative these french pastries are. It is a special treat to pick up a small box for myself and enjoy with a cup of coffee. The have a variety of flavors to choose from--my favorites are the lemon berry and raspberry rose. I first discovered Chelles at the Dallas Farmer's Market a couple of years ago and fell instantly in love.

The service could be friendlier, especially at the Plano location. I had walked in and looked directly at the lady who would be providing assistance, saying "hello" before I was ever greeted in return. That was after the lady slowly stood up from her stool and reluctantly walked away from the iPad on the table, as if I was disturbing her with my presence. The entire time I was there (which was all of 5 minutes) I felt that I was not welcome there and that I should leave as quickly...

I cannot say enough good things about Chelles Macarons. They are delicious and the packaging is so nice. These were my main Christmas gift this year and I sent a rather long email requesting a couple of boxes to be shipped and a few to be picked up (split between 3 days due to when I needed to give the gifts) and they created a custom invoice and the process was so EASY. My friends sent me pictures of the macs and they arrived in perfect condition. I would have totally understood if they had said that I would need to order everything separately, especially given the holiday rush but instead they were very accommodating and helpful. Everyone I've interacted with at Chelles has been friendly and I will continue to purchase macarons...

This is the SECOND time I’ve gotten macarons from this location that were over baked and still placed in the display for customers to purchase. I bit into a vanilla flavor and it was so hard I thought I was sold an old stale product. It dawned on me they were probably over baked and no one cared to scrap the batch. I was gracious the first time it happened and just figured it was a rare occurrence however today I also purchased cookies as a gift and after tasting my flavors I have no idea if the ones in my favor box are even edible… super frustrating. These cookies are too expensive to be hit or miss. I will not...
