I've been shopping at pop shell for the past couple of years now. I started seeing the Stars pop up here and there no pun intended I went in to check them out and I was surprised at how reasonable their prices were and for basic essential items. With my favorite 99-Cent stores having been shut down I really needed some sort of alternative to help save money. I hear pop shelf is run by a Christian organization which really appealed to me and a friend of mine works for one of the locations. I have managed to find some really good deals here. Just the other day I saw online a box of 12 arabica coffee pods for only a $1.50 A box these things normally cost upward towards 7 -10 dollars a piece! I also go in for toiletries, kitchen supplies, herbs and spices at a dollar a piece and many toiletries. It's a decent money saving alternative for those looking for a decent bargain. They also offer now a downloadable app that awards its members with additional perks and savings from regular purchases you get discounts or with the purchase of other items you can get free items four points to use towards coupons off of for...
Read moreThis place was really great and had everything that you can think of in there a reasonable prices this is my first time being in this store I didn't even know it existed before this visit. The staff was really nice but what I didn't like was I was going to check out and I saw they had a reward program and I was about to download the app and sign up in the young lady told me that I could just do it afterwards that I would have a scan bar on the receipt so I agree and said okay. But then to only find out that I would have gotten credit for that purchase had I continued to sign up as I intended so basically I lost out on getting credit for a 100-dollar purchase my purchase was $99 and some change so I was pissed about that because I literally would have almost been at my first tier to receive a reward with that purchase so that really upset me but I'm still giving the store four stars because the store itself was great and up until the issue I was pleased...
Read moreI've seen it many times but had no idea what this store was. Finally decided to stop in. It's a cute little store. I would best describe it as a mix between Tjmaxx's Home Goods & a dollar store. (Dollar general owns it) Prices are very affordable but the store gives a more lux vibe. I was only in need of some face wash and got that but spent quite a bit of time just strolling the isles delighting in all the different offerings of the store. Especially the stationery section. I love notebooks and planners and pens. BE WARNEDI ended up purchasing a snack item that I didn't realize was expired until I got in the car and ate some. I've read this is an issue at this store but refund was immediate and easy. Staff...
