I LOVE escape rooms and have done well over 100 of them and I used to work at one so I totally understand the circumstances, but this place has AWFUL costumer service and I didn’t even get a chance to play here when they had ONE BOOKING for the entire afternoon. I was told inside they couldn’t book me and that I HAVE to go online to do so. A.) the service there is trash and their website wasn’t loading. B.) I was a walk in and I do not live near plant city, I was just looking for something to do to kill some time. I walked in at 3:45, asked about their rooms (which the employee had zero knowledge of them it seems, which is fine. Maybe he was new idk) then hands me a pamphlet to give me the room descriptions and then WALKS AWAY. did not tell me I HAD to book online. So when he came back out at 3:52, I wasn’t able to book the room and was told I HAVE to wait the full 30 minutes to start the next room. (Absolutely stupid. Never have I ever had to do that at any escape room if there was no one in the room at that time.) The employee told me over and over again I can only book online and they do not take bookings inside. An hour later I call, and they told me I CAN book inside but they have a “ten minute window where they can no longer book due to waivers and setting up the room. Again, never, is the HUNDREDS of rooms I’ve done, have I experienced this. You’re there literally all day, why is your rooms not ready???? I get on a busy weekend but when I tell you the bookings were EMPTY. there’s no reason you should be sitting in the back room not having the rooms ready????
Honestly wish I was able to give this place 0 stars and I do NOT recommend enters...
Read moreThe room (Secret Society) was well decorated and our "game master" was attentive and helpful, however many of the puzzles seemed to be malfunctioning. The safe in the desk simply was broken would not open even with the game master coming in and attempting to fix it, causing us to not only lose time but mis-out on 2 puzzles. The bookcase puzzle didn't funtion as it was intended. Also, in room 2 we had the right code for some time but didn't know we needed to push # instead of star (which we needed to use on the first number combination on the safe), I feel like some standarized method of input would benefit players. Lastly, we had 2 players in our group that are DHH ( deaf or hard of hearing) which makes the solving of musical puzzle at the beginning of the room nearly impossible, I suggest this should have a disclaimer noted on your website or otherwise for the handcap. We have done several of the game over rooms in the Tampa area and this was by far the most...
