Kids N Cribs — Local services in Pleasant Hill

I found Kids N Cribs through a Google search when I found out I was pregnant back in July of 2024. As a first time mom, I felt completely lost when it came to baby gear. I decided that before I purchased anything I wanted to go into a store to look around and ask questions.

I called Kids N Cribs and made an appointment. I did not find this weird because other places I called around to required an appointment. Plus I knew that the time would be reserved for me and that meant I would get the chance to ask all of my questions.

Upon arriving I was greeted by Antoinette. She took me to their baby gear section and began asking me questions about what I was looking for. Based on my answers she recommended a a beautiful travel system! Budget not being an issue, she could have chosen to sell me the most expensive travel system they offered but she didn’t! Immediately I knew, this establishment and the owners were people I could trust!

We began talking about other baby gear and furniture. She gave me her recommendations and answered all of my questions. I spent well over the amount of time that was reserved for me and I never felt pressured to wrap up or leave. I truly felt that this was beyond business for them, this was a passion of theirs!

I went home with a list of products and intended on ordering them through Kids N Cribs in a few months as my due date became closer. Just out of curiosity, I searched the products on Amazon and found that I could get some of them but not all. Then it dawned on me that buying from Amazon takes a sale (or a few) away from this business that is ran by wonderful people! Plus, my intention from the beginning was to go into a store to browse and buy products!

Fast forward a few months, I was hospitalized and was going to be induced. Nothing for the baby was ready! I contacted Kids N Cribs to let them know we were now in desperate need of our nursery furniture (which was just pending a pick up from us). Without hesitation, her husband scheduled a delivery to our house to get us the furniture.

A few months after delivery I stopped in to say hello and ask about an accessory for my stroller. Antoinette again greeted me and went to work on answering my questions! She even adjusted my son’s car seat for a better fit! I stayed a while, feeding my son in one of the gliders they have. Never felt pressure to leave! In fact, I’m sure if my son decided to nap while I was there, they’d offer me one of the cribs they have on display.

Overall I have nothing bad to say about this establishment! I recommend them to everyone! The knowledge they share is unmatched and the time they spend with you is priceless! I will 1000% be back to purchase more from them and ask all my questions as my son grows up and when I decide to have another baby!

My husband and I came to Kids N Cribs for nursery furniture after the recommendation of multiple friends. Mike greeted us. He showed us various options, answered our many questions on numerous visits to the store, and ultimately helped us decide on the Silva Jackson crib, dresser, changing station and nightstand, and the Best Chairs Bilana glider. It is a beautiful set and very high quality. We know this will be our daughter's furniture for a long time and happy with our purchase. Mike and his team delivered the furniture and installed it in a very timely manner. The changing stand was delayed due to COVID, and they brought us a loaner to use until ours arrived. We were very appreciative of this offer.

During our first visit, I wanted to show my husband the stroller I knew I wanted. I saw so many people with the Uppa Baby Vista and thought it would be the perfect stroller system for us. After talking with Mike and Antionette, we realized the Uppa Baby Vista was not the right fit for us. Mike and Antionette introduced us to the Peg Perego Agio. We loved it was more lightweight, smaller design and could convert to a double stroller that holds two children up to 50 lbs. The car seat safety features blew us away. We also loved that Antoinette would install the car seat for us. We have been using this system for three months and so glad we went with the Peg Perego. It is a smooth-riding system, we get multiple compliments on the design, and our baby LOVES the car seat! The installation from Antionette was so informative, and she made sure the car seats were installed correctly, and we were comfortable installing on our own. When our baby was born, she was born early and a bit smaller than we anticipated. After talking with Antionette from the hospital, she suggested my husband come over and have the base reinstalled. We were so grateful to know our baby was coming home from the hospital in a car seat installed correctly for her size.

Purchasing our furniture and stroller/car seat from Kids N Cribs was the best decision! They make you feel part of the Kids N Cribs family and are there to answer all your questions. I had searched all the online stores for cribs. Everything that had a style I liked had such mixed reviews. A crib & dresser set would be listed as solid wood, but the reviews noted that only some parts were solid and other parts compressed board. We really wanted to see the Furnature in person. My husband found Kids N Cribs on a google search & we hit the road. It took us longer to get there than we expected as we were traveling from Napa. We arrived only 10 min before they closed. The woman at the front desk (I later learned was one of owners) greeted us kindly & answered all our many questions as we made our way through the store. She was very patient & never rushed us. We were a little anxious about making such a large purchase, but once we learned that it was a family Business we were much more comfortable. (The service is always better when your dealing with people that actually care and have a vested interest in your experience.) We feel so good knowing our purchase will support a family business. I’m so glad we found them. We would have otherwise ended up with a set from Macy’s or Costco... But getting to feel the quality of the pieces in person & having someone there to explain the difference between the options is so crucial to the whole experience. The quality of the pieces we purchased were far superior to similar priced options at other locations. I would highly recommend Kids N Cribs to all Parents.
