I am a repeat customer at this great location, near my home on the pleasant hill side of Walnut Creek.. Every product I have purchased, over the years this location is conveniently located, and every sales associate, has been exceptional!! Yesterday I was in the store buying gifts, with a special selected box of flavors for my daughter. ( the angry lady reviewer… It is very easy to confuse the customers rude review Who sounds like she is entitled to being treated as royalty, as customers like that, talk down to sales associates, intimidate new and seasoned associates, and managers When trying to accommodate an angry demanding customer, with no errors.!) Yesterday, Gretel was the excellent sales associate, happily greeting me as I entered, helping me find the packaged gift items ion my list, and helped me choose the popular Halloween mini candies for trick or treaters.. GRETEL even wrapped up, as her suggestion in clear wrap, so the desired candy could be seen, thru the clear wrap, and sees ribbon, as The candy was in already, nicely packaged bags, as I explained this candy was a birthday gift for a newly paralyzed friend. My boyfriend mentioned to me that he had to bring a surprise gift to work for one of the nurses in his office, as part of a Halloween secret gift exchange. He was asking for help so I suggested chocolate and wine. See’s Candy to the rescue! I figured I’d go to this location because the Dollar Tree is in the same plaza and has gift bags and ribbons to complete his “Boo-ing”, (usually I go to the one on Contra Costa Blvd.). I stopped inside on my lunch break and was surprised how big this store is!! Bigger than the one I’m usually at and it was empty! The small storefront you see from the parking lot is very misleading. I grabbed a couple of the Halloween assortment boxes (each under $8) and then ordered a Butterscotch square for myself ($1). Those are my favorite!! Since yesterday was National Boss’ Day I wanted to take a few boxes back to work as well, but one of my bosses is vegan and See’s doesn’t sell any chocolate that doesn’t contain dairy, so unfortunately that idea...

I was greeted by Robin P., the assistant manager of store 2118, with a genuinely warm smile and asked if I have any questions or need help with anything, please let her know. I explained that I need several 1 pound boxes of personally selected candy for the people that are helping me move.
