Walked in at around midnight on a Saturday night by myself, it stunk of lit cigarettes throughout the entire store. This was because the clerk and his inappropriate friend (maybe coworker) were chain smoking cigarettes inside the store. Upon walking up to the counter, I was immediately called "baby" by the store clerk and his friend, and was asked very personal, intrusive questions about my life and was obnoxiously interrogated about my age. The friend of the clerk who was seated behind the counter with the man ringing me up asked me what college I go to and then right after I gave my answer asked me if I "have any problems with black people there", a question neither of the men found horribly racist or inappropriate even after I called them out and told them how awful of a question that is. My experience was that the staff was very unkind to me. I had just relocated here from Lansing and needed to cash my check, which they advertised. Then I was told that they do not cash checks.
