I recently had a very frustrating experience at a T-Mobile store while trying to get new phones for my mom and myself. We walked in a little after 6 PM, and the store closes at 8PM. Right away, it was clear that the employee at the front was not happy to see us.
I tried to lighten the mood by asking what time they closed and if we had enough time for our transaction, but he snapped at me, saying, “It’s just been a really long day.” As we tried to find the iPhone 16, my mom wasn’t sure where it was located in the store, and I pointed out that there were two left. The employee threw his hands up in frustration and said “geez” before walking over to show my mom where it was.
I’ve never felt more disrespected in a retail setting. If I hadn’t driven an hour to get to this store, I would have walked out. Overall, this was a horrible experience and is a reminder that customer service matters. I hope T-Mobile takes this feedback seriously and trains their staff to treat customers with the respect they deserve.
ps. we left at 6:30 and he said he didn’t have time to activate my new phone and i had to...
Read moreBought a new phone from Cassidy last month. She was helpful while I was in store and I thought it was a great experience. Was shocked to find out when I got home and spoke to my dad that my bill was almost $30 higher than Cassidy confirmed it would be. Ended up finding out that she made the bold decision to just add the insurance protection to my plan without saying a word about it to me. Cassidy, that raised the cost of my monthly payment by over 20%. I am now trapped into paying it for this month and have to spend my time getting it canceled, all because YOU wanted me to have it!
I called the store to ask questions about the insurance. T-Mobile’s is drastically higher than other places, so I wanted to see exactly what it offered. When I asked how much the deductible would be if my phone was stolen, the guy said “I’m not sure. Only higher-ups know that information.” Either couldn’t be bothered to figure it out for me or T-mobile doesn’t allow employees to know what the insurance plans they sell entail. I think the first option is way...
Read moreMy phone went complete black screen the other evening. I rush as quickly as possible to the nearest t mobile where I had had positive experiences in the past. I arrived right before closing but I needed help. The woman who I met at the counter was not amused that I was there right before closing time and even mentioned that they closed in 10 minutes so all she could do was sell me a new phone, didn't even try to trouble shoot any issues. Then explained to me that my insurance was low grade and I could request a placement but it would take many business days to be mailed to me. She them went on to basically tell me that my 12 years of loyalty to t mobile meant nothing because I have the S10 and the newest phone out is the S24. I left 💔💔💔 even if I needed a new phone she was not getting any of my money. Rude, condescending and unempathetic. I went to another location in the morning and still had to buy a S24 but felt 💯 better about giving them my money and will write them a positive review. At least they...
