I bought a great saltwater spa for around $17,000. Mark Roper handled my sale & after sale flawlessly. He continues to field my questions in person, by email and at times VM. *UPDATE* My High Life Vanguard spa sprang an in-foam leak. It's been about a month or so after contacting Hot Springs service department to initially diagnose the problem as something else hopefully, to the spa death sentence of IN-FOAM LEAK. I was told they cannot repair it on-site and need to come and get my spa but that might not happen till Fall/Winter because it's their busy season and there are many broken tubs ahead of mine. WHAT?!?! I'm currently trying to still use it but I'm running the hose for a half hour every two days with a filter and dumping chems in as well. I stand by my statement that sales & the salt spa (when not leaking), are still good but their service leaves much to be desired. This spa has been operational less than two years and now I'm looking to have to shut it down for the season because of the amount of water and chemicals I'm having to use as the leak is progressively getting worse. I've reached out to Hot Springs corporate a week ago and still waiting to hear back. Hoping to update this post soon with something positive about their service on this issue. Super frustrating as the warranty coverage is there but for what? *UPDATE #2* It was fixed, brought back out and soon thereafter developed another leak. Hot Springs Spas came out once again, diagnosed it with a leak that couldn’t be fixed onsite and removed my spa a 2nd time. After many weeks, the spa was brought back and not leaking anymore however, I noticed four cracks under both headrests that I pictured and sent to their customer service staff. After a few days it was deemed that other shells had similar problems and Hot Springs was going to replace my entire spa at some point. It’s been about a month since I received that news BUT at least my old spa isn’t leaking to date! Service was on it this time so I’m adjusting my stars from one to three. Hopefully I’ll have better luck with the replacement spa.

As a first-time hot tub buyer, I embarked on my search online, specifically looking at brands in the Twin Cities area. Suddenly, I was bombarded with texts from various hot tub companies – it got overwhelming! Thankfully, that's where Bill Brown from Hot Spring Spas stepped in. Unlike the pushy tactics of other companies, Bill took a refreshingly different approach. He followed up to see if anyone had contacted me, apologized for the missed connection, and actively listened to my needs. Bill's knowledge was impressive, but he didn't use it to pressure me. Instead, he asked questions to understand what I was looking for – a hot tub perfect for our family of five, including my wife and three kids. He recommended the ideal model and built trust throughout the process. To add a fun twist, Bill even mailed me some adorable Hot Spring Spas rubber duckies to surprise my family! My initial plan to surprise them after prepping the patio backfired when my wife decided to plant a garden. I had to come clean, and the excitement was contagious! The rubber duckies were a delightful touch that hinted at the bigger surprise to come. Bill worked tirelessly to ensure delivery arrived exactly when we needed it – right after our 20th-anniversary trip and in time for the 4th of July weekend with family visiting. The delivery team was seamless, and Bill's continued accessibility (via calls or texts) is a huge plus. No more impersonal 800 numbers for me! Bill's customer-centric approach, the exceptional purchase experience, and of course, the hot tub itself, have exceeded expectations. We're having a blast, and I can't recommend Bill Brown and Hot Spring Spas highly enough!

Just had my spa delivered a couple days ago. Mark helped me with the start up process and within a day or so we were in it relaxing. The lights give a wonderful ambiance and adjustable jets target all your aching muscles and joints. The salt system I think will be fabulous once I get used to the testing. Not a lot different from the pool I used to own, but it does have a unique twist. Personally, I think the salt system is lots better than using chlorine. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from got l Hot Springs spas. Even my electrician was impressed and that means a lot. Quality is evident to someone that wires these many times a year, so for the average Joe like me to have this puts my mind at ease. Mark made himself available even on a Sunday during football to help me and answer all my questions. Now I just wish I could live in it.

After a 7 1/2 week wait from when we ordered, our new Limelight Pulse model finally arrived. When we signed the contract during the "pre-fair sale" we were told 4-6 weeks so we were a little frustrated with extra wait time. Once we knew the tub had arrived in their warehouse, delivery was going to take another 10 days. After some communication with their delivery scheduler and Randall, we were able to get the delivery date moved up a few business days to have it for this past weekend, which we appreciated. Turned into a great, relaxing weekend despite the warmer than average temps outside!

The delivery process went smoothly for the most part except the installers did not have some hardware pieces with to install the cover lifter properly. They ended up returning promptly a few days later to finish installing the lifter but we were still able to use the spa in the meantime. One thing that could be better communicated in the pre delivery manual was the length and width of the electrical cut out in the bottom of the tub. The electrical opening is very narrow and getting 3/4 " liquid tite and it's fittings to fit was difficult. Initial start up after wiring was completed was very easy. Now we are working on figuring out our sanitizer routine. So far, so good. Our overall experience was a good one and this business has a good reputation for customer service. Communication with Randall and the staff was always prompt and professional. There were no pushy sales gimmicks to speak of. Mostly just well asked questions to narrow down what we were looking for.

Other than the later than expected delivery date, we are very satisfied so far with our choice of a Hot Springs Spa from Hot Springs of Plymouth and are looking forward to many years of year round relaxation. My wife and I can't believe how soundly we have slept these last few nights! Exactly...

We purchased a Hot Springs Envoy from the Plymouth location a few months ago. The Plymouth location is about 60 miles from where the hot tub is located; but we opted to purchase from this location because they had several viewable tubs on the floor, and we were able to get a quicker delivery being this is a much larger dealer than the one more local to us.

When we ordered the tub, we were told that while we are on the outer edge of the area they cover / support, but we are still close enough that we could get it from them. We moved forward with purchasing the tub and were told that we'd have assistance in getting our tub in working order after it is delivered. After our tub was delivered, I called in to ask about scheduling a time for someone to come out and assist and give an introduction on chemicals. Response we received was "We're pretty busy right now, and you are pretty far away from us to make a trip out there to show you how to do the chemicals."

Oh, so we reside close enough for you to sell us a $ 17K hot tub, but not close enough for you to support it? Got it!

I've done my best to read the manuals and try to understand how to do the chemicals, but this is our first tub and there's a level of uncertainty to if I'm doing it correctly. Just looking to be corrected or given confirmation that everything is being done correctly to ensure we get a long life out of the tub.

At this point, I'm regretting our decision to buy from this location rather than from a local dealer.

edit 11/2/22. prior to writing the original review, I had an email into Hot Spring Service again requesting assistance. At that time, it had not been responded to. Oddly enough; I was contacted the day after I posted this review, asking when I'd like to schedule them to come out. I immediately responded and I have heard nothing since (Two...
