Very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. If you have any interest in freshwater shrimps I highly recommend a visit. I am somewhat new to the hobby but I visited with my family, they have a large selection of very high quality neocardina and cardina shrimp, They have soft couches and chairs in a nice little showroom with setup aquascaped tanks you can look at while you take a load off, I purchased a Bamboo shrimp which now, being a week later, is still perfectly happy and healthy and he is quite enjoyable to watch, on top of that, and to piggy back on the friendly part, they have a selection of non shrimp critters, snails, african clawed frogs, bettas, those kind of things, I was visiting with my mother who is not the tallest person on the planet, While she was on her tip toes looking at the bettas which she really enjoys because of the colors, one of the employees noticed and brought her their step stool they use to access the tanks for her to stand on so she could get a better view, things like that really just show who a person is and these are the type of people that I would certainly want to spend...

I happened upon this place looking for local aquarium stores to support. They have a lot of fun, colorful, healthy shrimp available. They have an excellent array of aquascaping supplies.

The shop may not look like much from the outside, because it's in a sort of business office strip mall, but it exceeded my expectations by far. Everything was immaculate and organized.

Staff was very friendly. They were happy to answer any questions I had about shrimp, fish, aquariums, plants, etc. They also had some beautiful looking pre-made tanks filled with plants.

I loved this place. Perhaps the best part was how much time and effort Joe was willing to put into helping me select my shrimp, teaching me about good aquarium care, helping me make the right choices and stopping me from buying things I do not need. I loved the entire shop. There is so much to choose from and so many varieties. And not just shrimp but also other fish. I also think it was thoughtful of him to keep the shop open later than closing time to help me out. I would recommend the Shack a million times over. It is worth a visit at least to see how beautiful it is and to learn things that are rarely taught and we do not often see on the internet when it comes to care and set-up of aquariums.
