They have good products and friendly staff when we went there to visit. Then we were told that a senior designer will contact us to schedule something. Never received the call for 4 days until I called back. Then I was told they would need to charge us $1000 to come out and see the space to do a measurement and figure out the design. I understand that it costs money to do to drive up and takes time to do the initial approach, but this business model doesn't makes sense at all when I'm not married to their products yet, nor did I know the rough price of the project I wanna work on. I insisted on obtaining a per sqft price range at least for the selected cabinets only so that I can get even an idea of how much we would be looking at financially. $10,000 vs. $50,000 are a big difference. But the answer was negative. So I assume this place just want you to pay a high enough money first, so that you would feel obligated to go to someone else since you've already made...

My wife and I have contacted Studio M for a number of different areas in our home, starting with our kitchen when we first built in 2018. Since we had such a great experience, we asked for their suggestions and design expertise when we finished off our basement area which included a bathroom as well as a bar and living area. Danielle Lardani, Maggie Kasner, and Carly Loobek were incredibly helpful and insightful in our design. When we met with Danielle for initial bar designs, she gave us a few options, but blew us away with the final design which we fell in love with. Our background story is that we are the second owners in our 1956 rambler and the kitchen was in desperate need of a remodel. The kitchen could not accommodate our family of five and did not have a pantry/dishwasher/full size fridge/ or full size oven. With limited space we felt stuck. However, as we worked with Bre, she was able to see so much potential and completely transformed our kitchen! The new kitchen now has style, functionality and openness that we had only dreamed of. Bre was always thinking of the little features to make our home more functional, yet making sure it had beautiful details.
