My son and myself ended up choosing Residence Inn in Plymouth over Valentines because the location was very close to where my son had an early morning hockey practice(7:00am). From check in to check out the stay was amazing even during COVID-19. We were able to do an early check in and was able to choose from a couple different room locations. We opted for a 3rd floor because we wanted more of a view but also close to the stairs that led to the pool. The pool was a little chilly albeit happy to be able to swim. The hotel provides plenty of towels for pool use and were just as nice as the ones located in the room. The exercise room was right off of the pool area and had cardio machines, free weights and plenty to do, even a water machine. The breakfast even though it was considered a grab and go breakfast had plenty to choose from even some nut-free options. Bagels, english muffins, granola bars, oatmeal, yogurt, and fresh fruits. It would of been nice to have paper bags to put your items in instead of styrofoam plates but we made it work. We opted for the room fee that gave us an extra $15 a day to utilize in their sundry shop which had almost anything you could want, plenty of snacks, candy, ice-cream treats and frozen dinners without being too over priced. Again a bag to fill up our goodies would have been appreciated albeit we brought our own and was able to fill up a small gift bag both days of our stay. Our room was exceptionally clean, we had the 1 bedroom studio room. I brought my son's Xbox and we were even able to hook it up to the room internet so we could connect to his gamepass and xboxlive. We just had to call the front desk and they gave us the phone number to their internet provider. Less than a 2 minutes conversation with the internet provider and we were connected and ready to go. We had everything we needed a kitchen, living room, bedroom and a bathroom with a walk in shower. The only thing lacking in the kitchen was a can opener that would have been nice. Upon check out the woman at the front desk had a prize basket that my son was able to choose a small item from. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend the...

Read moreWow! Where do I start? This has been one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had!
When we arrived, we were very warmly greeted by Alex, the front desk representative. He was born for hospitality! He was so friendly and cheerful and welcoming. He made sure to explain the parking fee to us, told us there were fresh cookies served nightly in the lobby and told us the pool/breakfast hours. He got us checked in quickly and made a great first impression.
Our room smelled so clean- almost like a faint essential oils smell (very natural smell- not an artificial clean smell). The bed was very comfortable and we have slept extremely well.
We’ve spent a lot of time in the hotel during our stay and there are always many staff members milling around. We have a small toddler and they have been very friendly and kind to us!
The saltwater pool is AMAZING! We enjoyed it every day. It’s so nice to have a pool that isn’t bad for your body/skin/hair. The temperature is just perfect. It’s not very often you find a hotel pool that is heated so nicely. There was always a fully stocked supply of plush, nice towels in the pool area as well. These little details matter. Especially when you have kids!
They offer a hot continental breakfast, which is much appreciated. There are many options for everyone, even gluten free options! The only comment I have about breakfast is I would have preferred to see some pork-free breakfast options. Perhaps if we would have stayed longer we might have.
There are many attractions in the area. Very close to restaurants, shopping etc.
Thank you for a simply wonderful stay! I wholeheartedly...
