Update: Leif is trying to work magic with all the past issues of this store including my issue. Still waiting for my $800 promotion trade in. Older update: Jan. 23, 2022 Still on going problem. The $800 promotion has still NOT been applied to my account. Verizon constantly saying they will check things on their end and I need to go into the store. I have been into this store so many times. The last time both me and the manager called in together in hopes to resolve this. Called Verizon again today and it's back to square one. Please Verizon TCC or Verizon company just make this right! Please. I'm a faithful costumer who just wants the $800 promotional trade-in as promised by the store. UPDATE: Dec. 31, 2021 NEW MANAGER LEIF MELBY gets FIVE STAR rating! (Unlike the 1 star rating I left for the previous manager and employees) It has been 6 months of trying to receive a $800 promotional trade-in to reflect on my account. From the moment he knew about this situation he said he would get this resolved and today Leif took time in making sure this issue was resolved. Woohoo! Leif is just super and same with Brian who was also working in the store today. Both were more than knowledgeable, able to help me along with other costumers all while genuinely showing they cared about their customers. THANK YOU to Leif and Brian for making my time in the store calm and comfortable while getting this issue fixed. I highly recommend this store under its new Manager Leif Melby! Read morePhone was intermittently unable to activate cell service for no apparent reason. I tried all the obvious stuff (cycling data on and off, checking for carrier updates, restarting the phone) but the young guy working here wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise, ignoring all my diagnostics and treating me like I was completely tech illiterate. He did not once give a technical explanation that was remotely true. Highlights include: “Apple kicks you off your cell service when it does automatic updates” “Apple is doing a bunch of automatic background hot-fixes just give it a few hours” “Your phone is just disconnecting from cellular data because you’re on the wifi”
He also grabbed the phone out of my hand without asking while I was showing him the problem, insisting that I was apparently screwing up the daunting task of turning airplane mode on and back off again, presumably because it didn’t instantly fix the issue like he expected. He then proceeded to start flying around settings menus with the phone held out of my sight. Very unprofessional.
I had recognized the issue as an eSIM problem from the jump and just wanted their help quickly disconnecting and reestablishing my eSIM; classic “turn it off and back on.” Big Guy here rudely shut me up with “that wont do anything its all the same numbers” and sent me on my way, insisting it was an Apple/iOS problem.
Five minutes in an online Verizon support chat and my eSIM had been erased and reconnected, and low and behold… the problem went away.

I met with a young man very knowledgeable who listened to my needs and wants in a new phone--a very professional & dedicated employee with a plethora of information. I sought recommendation from a relative who is an IT Field Engineer who suggested another brand that he loves. I decided to go with his recommendation -- the paperwork was done and a wide training on the phone was given by my sales representative. I went from an Apple cell to something entirely different. At home I worked with it and found it so different to operate I was became totally frustrated and at a loss to know I made the wrong decision. I waited and kept on trying for a week. I felt trapped. I decided to take my S phone and story back and talked to my salesman. I spilled my 70 yr old frustration with tears. I was able to change phones to an Apple cell. I also received with my purchase an iPad.
