Four years ago my husband took on a mission to have a custom engagement ring made for me by a very reputable jeweler. Although it was beautiful- it was made poor. It had to be remade 2x! We then found a jeweler to whom we trusted at the time. They were the ones to make my two wedding bands I had dreamt up in my head. My main one being a 7 stone asscher cut band. When I received the ring, it was beautiful but something seemed “off.” There were gaps in between the stones and I was told it was the way it had to be due to the style of stone needing 4 prongs per stone. However, it just never felt right to me. After now 4 years of having this band, 2 kids later, and not having been able to wear it due to it needing to be resized- I went on the hunt for a jeweler to fix this ring once and for all- AND to form a relationship with a jeweler who I truly trusted. Since relocating to the cape 12 years ago from Plymouth I tried to keep my business here but I knew where the true talent was- Stellor Custom Jewelers in Plymouth, MA- Where I had a custom ring made years prior and has not only looked new for almost 2 decades but I constantly get compliments on. Finally, I said that’s it! And drove to Stellor to have them overhaul all of my rings! Every one of them got resized, polished, fine tuned and he did not only fix those gaps in my wedding band that I had talked about prior but reinvented it by adding in precision baguette stones in each gap to make this beautiful ring complete and finally feel finished. Steve kept the only ring I have had original but just did what should have been done from the beginning, complete and done with integrity and true craftsmanship. The only reason I didn’t have him totally remake it for me was because I wanted to keep the actual band I got married with. Seeing my engagement ring wasn’t original. Steve made it perfect. I have to start by saying I never post or review anything, but I definitely needed to. I was looking to get my girlfriend an engagement ring. I googled places in Plymouth and ended up emailing Stellor Custom Jewelry. Lori emailed me back and I instantly felt that sense that they cared. I went by and Lori was AMAZING. I gave her an idea what I was looking for and from there she help me design the ring. She explained EVERYTHING about diamond rings. We ended up designing a beautiful ring. They built it in within a week. When I picked it up I met Steve what an AWESOME person. To say I was astonished at how beautiful the ring turned out is truly an understatement! My girlfriend was so happy with the ring it exceeded all her expectations! The ring was a bit to small to fit over her finger, the very next day Lori and Steve fixed this. Recently I returned here for my wedding bands. Like before they knocked it out of the park. They are such a pleasure to work with, so kind caring and professional!!!! As you have seen by my previous posts, I will never buy jewelry from anywhere else. Since purchasing the rings, I have made other purchases that match my wife’s rings. I purchased earrings and a necklace and the quality of the work was exceptional!!! Recently my wife experienced an issue with one of the small diamonds in the halo of her engagement ring. I called Lori and Steven and they fixed the issue no problem at all. Not only do they make exceptional jewelry they stand by their products!!! They are seriously the best and that is why I’ll never go anywhere else....

While their jewelry is lovely I had a bad experience with a watch repair. I brought my watch in for a new battery. The glass on the face of the watch had a crack. When I left there was a small part that had become dislodged around the manufacturers name on the face of the watch. It was not dislodged before the repair. The watch worked for a week. I brought it back and told them the watch had stopped working and this part was dislodged. They told me moisture was getting in due to the crack and another battery would not help. This seemed odd to me so I asked for me $25 repair visit back so I could take the watch for another opinion. They denied this request. Did I mention? I had spent $500 on a Christmas present for my daughter in the store! So I left snd went to Carver Jewelers. They not only fixed my watch, they told me the crack was superficial snd no moisture would get in. They didn’t even want to charge me for fixing it which involves removing the part that had become dislodged. I insisted they charge me something. I do not like being taken advantage of and lied to especially when I’ve spent so much money in an establishment.
