We went to see a particular exhibit of Native American art. The exhibit wasn't up to the Heard Museum in Phoenix but it was challenging and entertaining nonetheless. The staff and docents are friendly and helpful. The art and sculpture in the permanent exhibits are nicely chosen and many pieces reflect the scenes of the South Shore and Cape Cod. The Center offers art classes also and occasional concerts. The street parking in front of the Center is available for up to 4 hours for a fee. There is plenty of street and lot parking near the Center and plenty of places to eat...
Read moreA beautiful free art gallery right off of Main Street! There was just enough to look at without being overwhelming and the artwork was all very nice. It’s a beautiful building with friendly staff and we were the only people there on a weekday morning, so we enjoyed exploring for about half an hour. They also offer different classes (painting, photography, pottery, origami, etc.) and have a small gift shop. Definitely worth a stop on your visit...
