I absolutely love breakfast places. I live in Chicopee, MA 2+ hours away 🥲😭 As you can tell this breaks my heart. My regular places at home are good , but Will & Co is on a completely different level. Most amazingly I got to order a glass of kombucha. First place I have ever seen this. And since I wasn’t at home I didn’t have my daily probiotic shake. It was so good. Raspberry lime. My macrobiome was so happy. Even if everything else had gone bad this would have made up for it. But it was not bad. Everything was superb. When I go to a new place and they have eggs Benedict that is what I get. Generally a traditional one because it says so much about sa breakfast restaurant. An aside. I am a southerner who has lived in MA since 1976. I am considered by many to be a very good cook, but never made fried green tomatoes until a few weeks ago and they were amazing. Definitely on the seasonal list from now on. Back to Will & Co., they had fried green tomato eggs Benedict! 🤯😛 Needless to say that is what I got. Southern Belle With a Twist…2 fried green tomatoes, avocado spread, Canadian bacon (not those insidious skinny round things), 2 perfectly poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce. I didn’t get the avocado spread, I don’t like avocado. Oh My Higher Power. This was the best breakfast dish I have ever had. Amazingly the fried green tomato was as crisp at the last bit as the first! Shakshouka at Dewey’s Place in Springfield, MA previously held that spot. I am sure that wonderful waitress thought I was a lunatic because I could not shut up about it. When I went to the restroom my companions told her I was a pain in the ass about restaurants, having spent my life in food service, so she should be very proud. My friend Glennie got the Cinnamon Swirl Pancake…fried dough meets cinnamon bun swirled in our fluffy pancake. It was huge and she was very happy. As was I because I tried a lot of this giant. We shared an order of their very thick applewood smoked bacon. Another superb dish. And I mean thick. My friend Susan got the quiche of the day…flaky crust served with excellent cornbread and fresh fruit. I don’t remember what the quiche was but the fruit was plentiful and the cornbread was to die for. In case you haven’t figured it out yet this place is a MUST visit if you are in Plymouth. I am going to stop because I want to...
Read moreI am on the crunchy side, so I have very high expectations when I go out. My family doesn’t go out frequently because I ask too many questions and am too critical of American food. The website is wonderful, and I want to give a great review because I love the family style restaurant and the inviting attitude. When you read about the coffee, and I’m a coffee lover, it sounds wonderful. If you went for coffee it probably would be. I did not feel that passion for the coffee was conveyed through the food. There was nothing organic for food. They cook with margarine (vegetable oil), so if you avoid the oils like I do here is your warning ahead of time. My family I did go with had the exact attitude I mentioned. Seeing organic coffees advertised so the food must be good! Unfortunately, there nothing healthy about it. Even the fruit isn’t organic. It tasted like any other breakfast joint you would go to. Nothing special about it from what we had, and we had a bit of everything. I sucked up my pride and ate my meal. I hope they’re working on creating a healthier menu similar to the what their coffee sounded like it is. It’s a shame to see such average food with unhealthy cooking styles. I was not even able to ask for my meal to be cooked with butter. Good location on Main Street but there are better options. I’m only giving them 3 stars for their organic coffee (which I didn’t even try as I had already had 4 cups that day but I’m a huge fan of). The service was extremely helpful and respecting with all my questions and finding out...
Read morePoor customer service! I wish I could rate the food but I never even got to eat it. I walked in on a Friday morning around 8:20am looking for a place to sit and eat a quick breakfast and grab some good coffee. I stood at the hostess stand for 10 minutes while the hostess stood there doing tasks and often turning to use the cash register. She never said hi, hold on, I’ll be with you in a minute, NOTHING! After 10 minutes I just turned around and walked out.
UPDATE 7/28/19 Decided to try Will & Co out again based on recommendations from friends and their online menu. Well, I have to say my rating went from a 1 to a 5. We were greeted upon arrival by a friendly hostess who was attentive and checked in during our wait for a table. The wait way about 10 minutes or so, immediately upon being seated we were greeted by a friendly waitress (wish I got her name, she went above and beyond)! Any lover of coffee will be impressed with their extensive coffee menu, I decided on the cinnsation- coffee, cinnamon, almond milk, etc- heaven in a glass! I ordered the vegetable quiche which was delicious, came with fresh fruit and homemade cornbread on the side. The portion size was large, I couldn’t finish it all. I also had to order the bacon on the side- thick cut, maple glazed, with pepper flakes to give it a little kick. I’m glad I tried it again, I will...
