Today was such a long, hot, exhausting day.
I explored Plymouth today (using my walker), and I came here lightheaded and in desperate need of something with sugar.
When I walked in asking for coffee and tea menus, I was directed upstairs. I looked up in despair. “There’s no way I’m making it up those stairs.”
I was offered an elevator but, as tired as I was, I just asked if there was a way I could just order right here.
The guy said “absolutely. I’ll get you a menu.”
He then brought me a sample of the tea I said looked interesting “mango mate.”
It was delicious! I order one! I also asked for one unsweetened so I could mix, as they are quite sweet.
Then I realized I left my wallet in the car! So tired, I took a breathe. “Give me just a moment! I left my card in the car!”
The gentle said “well that’s just perfect, because this was going to be on the house as our gift to you! Don’t run back to your car.”
I nearly cried.
Your small act of kindness does not go unnoticed. It made my day.
I will be back!

Read moreI challenge you to find a friendlier place. I bet you can't do it. Everyone is so personable, make great recommendations, and the food is delicious. I came in to the sit-down restaurant thinking it would be counter-serve and that I could work quietly without taking up a table (you know how restaurants need to turn tables and don't want people parking there with laptops) and the gentleman, with a big smile, pointed me right to a table with an outlet, sized for one, looking over main street! What a treat.
I will say that this is not a coffee shop - they don't serve espresso drinks, only drip brew coffee - but they have a full tea menu as well as hot apple cider. And DELICIOUS breakfast and lunch sandwiches that came out really quickly.
Wifi is fast enough for Zoom calls at both the take-out location on North Street and the dine-in location on Main Street, but highly recommend the North Street location for its gorgeous front porch where you can enjoy the breeze on a...
Read moreSadly the quality of there products has gone severly downhill. Carrot cake is so dry not even there delightful frosting can hide it. Chili tastes like a can of tomatoes. Sadly, i have seen so many of the "workers" sick and preparing food while they are ill. Especially during there holiday pie time. They are couphing and working hundred hours a week. (a few of them told me this). I think they all would benefit from less work hours, some quality control in there food quality for sure. I also have spoken personally with some twelve tribes members and there food IS NOT organic, we are just led to believe it is. they have a few organic eggs ect but for the most part it is not an organic place. I love the vibe, the friendly smiles, but the food there is getting hard to take.!!!--The bread they bake is so dry it's sad. They also freeze lots of what we are buying so that makes things dry as well.. take some time off guys,...
