What an amazing experience! Honestly, I came over to Sparks on a whim and I'm so glad I did, buckle up because I'm telling you the whole story. I am born and raised in Pocatello, I have owned many vehicles, trailers, ATV's and campers and have replaced more tires than I can ever dream to count. A couple weeks ago, I was traveling in WY and unfortunately picked something up in a construction zone causing an immediate flat. I was lucky to be right at the exit of Rock Springs. We were able to throw on the spare and make our way to the only place open on Sunday at 5 p.m....... Walmart - I have never used their tire center and try not to shop here at all :( but... they were able to get me in and I was desperate to get my family home, so I requested 2 new tires and a rotation. Well, Walmart did what Walmart does. They messed up and did not rotate the tires. And because they took over 2 hours to finish, they were closed when I paid (with the added $30 for the rotation). They were unable to complete the job but I could have it done when I get back to Pocatello. So we left and on the way home, my sensor light went off, checking the tires - they were inflated to 50 psi when recommended is only 35!!! I get back to Pocatello and head to Walmart the next day with receipt in hand, and a bonus written note from the manager for them to complete the rotation that I paid for. Again, Walmart..... No refund, no rotation - and in fact, wanted me to pay again.. I have never had this kind of poor customer service/attention/personal care/lack of caring like I had at Walmart. Thank you, but no, I would rather lose $30 than give them another dollar. I made a phone call to Sparks who are located near my work. I explained what happened and they told me to head over! I went first thing the next morning. Walking in, I could see that they are working hard to improve the building and have also started offering snacks and drinks for a reasonable price which is great if you didn't have time to get something before coming in. They have massage chairs, magazines promoting activities, maps and places to travel to in Idaho. Isabel not only rotated and balanced the tires, they did an all point check on rotors, brake pads etc. but she provided personal customer service and it's obvious that she has a passion for the industry and her community. Even better, is she didn't try to "upsell" a bunch of unnecessary services or parts. That is a level of honesty and integrity I respect highly. She has definitely convinced me that Sparks is the place to go for future wheel-end assembly, and now I've learned that they offer other automotive repair!!! Okay, so I rolled into Sparks Tire Pros with my car sounding like a dying walrus and refusing to go uphill. Turns out, my fuel pump had given up the ghost, and my exhaust was trying to audition for a heavy metal band. I braced myself for a bill that would make my wallet weep, but then… magic happened. Not only did they fix the noisy walrus and the wannabe rockstar exhaust, but they also did a full car spa day – tires, alignment, brakes, fluids, the works! – and didn't charge me a dime extra. I swear, I thought they'd accidentally quoted me for a bicycle repair. And the best part? They had my car back to me faster than I can finish a bag of chips. Sparks Tire Pros has been amazing to us and our truck in so many ways! They got our alignment work done, our tires, rims, also side rails. They also helped us with additional things such as our heater core, water pump, and installation of a new dashboard! We recently are also in the process of getting a new transfer case. The staff there does the best they can to get you the best price possible! They even were able to provide us with a ride home to leave our truck there for the work that needs to be done.
