Overall:
I probably won't be coming back here. The food isn't terrible it's just not my thing.
Food:
Overall the food was okay. I thought it felt too greasy. We ordered a family meal for three and now we're swimming in left-overs. One person in the group hated shrimp and we didn't realize the fried rice had shrimp in it. I thought the fried dumplings were dry but someone else in my group was fond of them. The sweet and sour chicken was the same thing you can get at any other oriental themed restaurant. I liked the honey walnut shrimp! Someone in my group thought it was a little greasy? The food was overall okay. It wasn't particularly special.
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere was okay. The store was completely empty when we got there. A few other people showed up through the service but otherwise we were alone. I personally liked it. There was a table covered in decorations that made the place feel a little unprofessional and cluttered but it could be cute. There were dream catchers all over and other off-theme decorations.
Service:
I think most of the business's service is carry-out. There was one waitress for all in-house service. She was attentive and tried to make sure we weren't waiting too long. The menu wasn't very clear and it was hard to tell exactly what things were. I think we spent too much money because the rules of their family meals...
Read moreOverall: Amazing Food! A true hidden gem in the gem state. Value: Excellent - Skiers, Remote Workers, Big Family and Student Paradise. Spend $30-$60 and you can eat for days on the left overs! Spend $100, you can feed an Army!! Portions: Huge! Good value for the $$. Food Presentation: Very Professional. Very Good. Food Quality: Very High. Lean Meats. Fresh Veggies. Mostly from scratch. Special Requests: Food made to your orders / dietary needs Cons: Lacks Traditional Chinese Atmosphere. Needs a nicer building / location. If it bothers you, do take out: eat at home, back at the hotel or on the road. You are more likely to hear Maroon 5 and Cardi B in the restaurant than Asian string instruments. They are pretty hip that way. It's a unique dining experience. Pros: Everything Else! Restaurant appears clean. The food appears and tastes to be mostly hand made from scratch. The noodles might be pre-made, but their unique sauces are clearly from scratch, as are the dishes. The ingredients are fresh and prepared by hand. It's a culturally diverse restaurant with Budda's to Japanese Cats to Native American Dreamcatchers. Order the food how you want it. Our instructions to the waitstaff when ordering: "No Celery, No Mushrooms, No Green Bell Peppers, Extra Nuts, please. Applied to all dishes..." That's...
Read moreWe had one of the four children who were running around, take our order, who was maybe 8 yrs old. The mother was doing her daughters hair. The cook had to come tell her to bring the food out because she ignored the bell and was too busy doing hair and having her kids do her job. Then finally the child brought one of the drinks we ordered, a while after we got the food. But never got the other drink which was just water. I kindly asked for it twice and never got it. Had to go out to my car to bring my own water in because there wasn't an adult in site at this point to ask. The father popped up from one of the booths after his nap, used the bathroom, and went to the kitchen. Then several minutes later came out and asked how things were. I asked for to-go boxes even though we hardly ate anything because I wasn't sure we'd get any service again because the lady wasn't anywhere to be seen after fixing her daughters hair. And he was getting the kids ready to go trick or treating. It took forever and service was ridiculously unprofessional! The man at the end of our experience was kind, the children were polite, the food was okay. But I won't ever go back and wouldn't recommend...
