Went to The Haven for 'No Earbuds Fest' and really loved the venue!
The space itself, while super small, has a great vibe -- signed instruments line the wall lit by two weathered chandeliers hanging from a neat tin ceiling. The whole place reminds me of the types of venues I'd go to in NYC.
Perfect venue to see your local music scene -- love how the space really makes each set feel like a true sharing of energy between the band and the crowd! š¤
The building is in Pomona's art district which is pretty cute. There is nearby parking and public transit, plenty of food options, and 'The Shop' next door was selling water for a dollar. We could barely make it through a set before having to go cool down outside. Second thing to note is they are very strict on what they allow inside the venue. The sauce on the fries was delicious, and helped make the dish what it was- pure magic. The food is affordable for the quality and quantity, too.
