My friend grew up going to Ken's Magic Shop in Fairlawn in the 80s and eventually took me.
It's rare that you can actually SEE magic or "le magique" as it's known in imaginary circles as magic is an immaterial phenomenon... (best left to the pros, amateurs, hobbyists, and anyone frankly.)
But not at Ken's Magic Shop where magic is on every shelf.

Read moreWanted to say RENT from Ken’s Costume! My 🇫🇷 Napoleon costume 🥖 was THE costume to beat at my Halloween Party. The shop has so many costumes you can rent, and all I had to do was flip through a big binder and point to the one I wanted. The price to do so was so reasonable ($45!—for a full costume with pants, boot covers, jacket, oversized hat AND sword/sash, and with the provision that you could return it anytime during the first week of November). Lastly, the service was great. I can’t recall the name of the gentleman who helped me, but when I asked if the costume came with a sword, he goes: “You want a sword, we’ll throw in a sword.”...
