Portage Resale — Local services in Port Clinton

Very clean store & nicely organized. The staff is wonderful & friendly 100% However, their prices are insane. For a Charitable Organization I do not fell this reflects good on you. Several times, I have found merchandise that has the original store tag, & the asking price is more than the original price. Some items are even marked "Sells on Ebay for..." Please realize that what people ask on Ebay for something, in more than likely NOT what they are going to get for it. A lot of merchandise seems to sit on the shelf for long periods of time.

BEWARE. There is no restrooms, even for customers. OVERPRICED. Walmart 50 cent plastic cups for 55 cents… clothes are minimum 15 dollars. The staff are VERY RUDE… they left rooms open with products on shelf, but yelled at us to get out of those rooms… DON’T WASE YOUR TIME VISITING!!!

after reviewing, Ohio Revised Code Section 4173.02 encourages such establishments to allow customers with eligible medical conditions or those using an ostomy device to use the employee restroom if it's reasonably safe.

They were not allowing my dad with a medical condition to even use there bathroom for an emergency…

The store has a little bit of everything. Quality is better of donated merchandise is better than Goodwill. However, Portage Resale makes you pay. The prices are near new retail. The money does go for Catholic charities. However, the staff does not know the meaning of the charity as customer service is terrible.
