Dollar Tree — Local services in Port Hueneme

I like the Dollar tree stores but the staff at this location is just terrible... they're extremely rude, make store rules on the fly and mismanage the line so poorly that on some days even if they have 2 or 3 registers open the will still cram everyone in one aisle and get mad at you (literally) if you try to form a second line, barking at you to go stand in that single line while letting other unaware customers cut in front of you and form a second line 2 minutes after...its really just extremely rude frustrating and makes zero sense.... I've seen multiple customers get into altercations with staff and with each other because of that..then on other days with different staff members they let you form a different line behind every register (as it should be) I just wish they'd be more consistent and nice at this location...the staff gives this store a hood vibe and can be very very rude if you do something against the rules they've just made up in their own head...some employees are also wayy too chatty and keep the line waiting while they scan 2 items and proceed to chat for another 5 min... management is nowhere to be found and seems like all the employees just manage this store as they please....shopping here just became too frustrating I rather just pay the couple extra dollars somewhere else and save all this headache. please hire some nice & welcoming people and tell the existing ones to save the chats for their own private time and not on the expense of your...

This store use to be on top when tennille was running it, now it's not the same, always long lines since they never open up another register til someone speaks up when customers start complaining and not giving enough attention to customers, maybe focus on the customers instead having them wait 10-15mins in line to pay,, but also since corporate can't return any calls back when a person was falsely fired for no reason since the manager gave him different times when he had a stable shift, and being unprofessional with the messages he received from the manager he chose not to come back since he felt uncomfortable, dollar tree company should step up more and not be selfish when we have this type of concerns during...

I was in the store 11/11 and upon checking out I pushed the button for cash back. The cashier loudly announced to me and all the people behind me in line. “ The one person I should have told no cash back. People no body is getting cash back today!” I responded, “ I’m sorry. …” (I was about to add I did not know) she said, “ Don’t tell me you are sorry, you are getting your cash, don’t tell me you are sorry!”. I said I did not know. She kept yelling at me as I walked out the door. Never in my life have I been treated so rudely. She did NOT tell me when I was checking out and even acknowledged that and then rudely tried to turn it around. I will never shop at this...
