If I could give this place no Star I would. I called in advance and they took down my name. When I walked in no one said hi or asked me how I was doing. I thought oh maybe they were just having a bad day so I didn’t make a big deal. I put my name on the list and I sat down. There was another man ahead of me. Another man walks in and he gets greetings. They ask how how he’s doing, did he have an appointment etc. I was shocked because I didn’t get the same treatment. So I wait about 10 more mins and they call the guy who was in front of me. Another stylist becomes free and I’m thinking it’s my turn. I was wrong. She precedes to ask the white man what his name was (his name was underneath my name on the sign in sheet) and says okay have a seat. Me and the man are both sitting there confused because I was next. He tells the lady, “oh no she’s next” and the stylist looks at me like she didn’t want to cut my hair. I am an African American female. My hair is about 20 inches, long and it was bone straight at the time. I just wanted my ends clipped and some layers. That’s all. I honestly think she purposely skipped passed me because I was Black. So the man tells her again I was next and at the point I don’t even want her to cut my hair. I cross my name off the list and start to walk out. Then she says oh are you sure I didn’t know you were next. Which is a lie, because there is a sign in sheet for a reason. If you didn’t want to cut my hair because the color of my skin, then you could have just said it. Anyway I will not be returning and I will make sure I let everyone know about this place. I wish I would have got her name but her chair was the first one on the right. Racism at it finest. Now the lady who chair was the first one of the left genuinely looked concerned so I do appreciate her for that. Glad to know I didn’t give me money this...
Read moreI went in for a quick trim and blow dry after not being able to get in with my regular salon. The girl did a fair job of trimming my hair and did blow dry it but did not style it. I was completely and utterly shocked when she said it would be $85 dollars. Evidently she had said it is $60 dollars for a blow dry when I thought she had said $16 dollars which is reasonable for a blow dry without a style. I could have gotten a cut and color at my regular salon for that price. I used to go there all the time and get a wash, cut and dry for less than that. Thank goodness I washed my own hair or it would have been over $100 dollars. I'm not going to put the stylist on blast because she did give me a decent trim I'm just astounded how much they charge for a 10 minute blow dry that's $360...
Read moreI can’t stress enough how disappointed I am. I went into this Supercuts for a simple bang cut. The stylist was perfectly pleasant but seemed almost in a rush. I showed her a picture of baby bangs that I wanted. She began cutting and I was immediately concerned that she was twisting the hair as she cut the bangs. When it was over in a total of 10 mins the stylist didn’t hand me a mirror just kept me in a far away mirror and asked how it looked. From afar it looked fine. As I looked closer in my car mirror I saw the most obscene jagged cut to exist. It looked as if a 6 year old cut my bangs. ALL different lengths to my bangs. I have finally learned my lesson and will never be coming back to another Supercuts. This is the worst hair cut I have...
