Cricket is the worst, and the CSR's are uninformed and rude! We switched one of our 2 Cricket kid's lines to Verizon today. We were told that everything went through and we were good to go, so they cancelled our 1 Cricket line we requested. Well, the "port # switch" didn't end up going through successfully, so in order to successfully switch the phone number over to Verizon, Cricket wanted us to pay a $45 reactivation fee to reactivate the phone (for 2 seconds) to switch the phone # over to Verizon correctly. They were very rude and unhelpful, after they turned the line off in the first place, because we were "good to go."
