I want to love this store..so excited to have one offering different ethnic ingredients HOWEVER as a local, its just doesnt sit right with me that they buy from surrounding stores, than sell the products they bought on sale for MORE money on their shelves. Target had a sale on certain foods, but there it was target brand and all, sitting on the shelf for MORE money. How can you do that to people? Fruits? previously frozen. Meats? Incorrectly/misleading labels, be WARY. Theyve got me twice with this. I dont know if they truly dont know or if it its just because they are cutting corners for money. I shop around for various things. Every local grocery story, and it seems like this one does too..to sell for more. I will say, spices and unique shelf stable foods can be safe...but again check expiration dates, look at the color of their dry beans, and look for signs of previously frozen. I really want this business to succeed. But i dont feel like they dont have their customers in mind at all, so it feels like when i shop here what other sneaky things are being done ? It sucks. We need a place like this in Port Orange but people wont shop here if they CANT TRUST YOU or feel like youre here for the community. And do BETTER for those who shop there because they think it may be more affordable! Cuz your affordable is NOT quality. Please FIX your quality items and dont scam people to pay more money for something on sale down the street. And DEFINETLY BE TRANSPARENT...
