I had an all-over color, cut and conditioning treatment done on 10/08/20 with Abby. Everything started off fine, I wanted a dark ash brown and 0.5 inch cut off. Abby began to dye my hair and when I looked back there was only two boxes of dye (every hair salon I have been to has stock of all colors to mix an exact shade). My appointment continued and she was finishing up applying the dye, I had noticed a large chunk of hair untouched. This is where the issue came with only having two boxes of dye, she had to comb the dye from other sections of my hair to the untouched part. I have a tough scalp, however she combed/brushed the dye off so hard my scalp was sore the next couple of days. I was then shampooed and told my conditioning treatment would be applied. The treatment was on for less than five minutes. She then brushed my hair and it was all in knots. Abby started to give me my trim and only cut .5 inch from the back, she didnāt even touch the front or all the layers I have. Which I told her I wanted cleaned up. She began to blow dry my hair and was again so rough with the brush. I saw my hair and almost began to cry it looked black and felt like a wig. I mentioned it being black and was told it would wash out. I asked if she was going to finish my hair cut and she repeated the same process as before. Abby styled my hair and then i paid. It costed $145 and then a $20 tip. The next day I went to work and my friend who went to beauty school said half my head was brown and half was black, I had a crooked hair cut, and a streak of my light brown hair still. I called the salon and explained how I felt, and they said they could get me in only to fix the streak, nothing else. I asked for a refund and was later told Iād only be give 30%, because she needed to cover her costs of the product. The refund was $50.01, so what she is telling me is her products cost $110. The refund also says my hair did not take the color, which it did because it turned black. I ended up doing my own hair conditioning treatment and washing my hair over and over again to get the dye out. I also had my eyelashes done here and they were done incorrectly. I will never recommend this place, nor will I ever go back. I couldāve dyed my own hair and cut it myself and it still wouldāve looked better. Also Abby had only been doing hair a year and I got charged a price most stylists with 5+ years of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter trying several other waxing parlors and experiencing some pretty bad customer service and bad waxing service. Anchored Aesthetics has my business.
Anita is my go to gal. She's a lovely esthetician, always on the ball, kind, and efficient. I get under arms, half leg and the occasional bikini or Brazilian waxing services. My skin always feels smoother, lighter and obviously, hair free. Not to mention, I feel comfortable in my own skin when I'm there. There's no judgement. Anita offers skincare advice when asked for it, and answers questions to the best of her abilities about products and services.
I feel well taken care of whenever I arrive. The rooms are always clean and properly stocked. Scheduling is a breeze and services are priced appropriately...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreYesterday (3/20/24) I had the "Brow Makeover" done at the salon. I used to love my eyebrows but am picky about who I trust to wax or alter them in any way - lately the shape has gone down hill and they just aren't as beautiful as they used to be. Thank you so much to Anita for the friendly service and understanding of stress that comes along with someone new handling such an important (to me) feature. She did an incredible job and I cant wait to get other services done by her in the future. Not only was the staff friendly and kind but they had snacks, drinks, and catered to a time that worked best for me with affordable prices. Thank...
