I want to start this review off by stating that as a vaccinated individual I take the public health and safety of our community VERY serious. Unfortunately the staff working Sunday night Do Not. Upon opening the door the 2 females working were having a conversation. The one facing the door had a mask on but it was pulled down under her nose. Not wearing it properly. As I took my first step inside, the floor was drenched in water from the other employee moping. Noticing this I was focused on the floor and trying not to fall on the slippery surface as I was in heels and trying to reach in my bag for my mask at the same time. Mind you there was no caution/ wet floor sign anywhere. As I was focused on not falling with the very first step I took inside the employee whom was not even wearing her mask appropriately immediately and very rudely told me to put my mask on. I gratefully ablidged by stepping out and putting my ask on ASAP. I would like to be able to leave the review at that however that was not the end of the hypocritical and condecending attitude I recieved from this employee. Its a hard pill to swallow when an employee enforces "rules" or is willing to refuse service to a paying customer when they themselves are clearly not following them. Again the rest of the time spent there while waiting for my sandwhich was met with rude microaggressions. When I asked to use the restroom the same employee just looked at me and said you need a key....after a long awkward pause I said OK may I have it. The employee snapped back and told me the other employee had to give it to me. That was the end of the conversation and the End of my future Subway experience....
Read moreHost ID: TNGKVLFBP9LJ8X62 This young man, (I believe his name to be Malachi) touched the customer's money before me and then proceeded to try and prepare my food with the same gloves, after I asked if he just handled money with those gloves he said "oh yeah" and strugged his shoulders, he took off his gloves and splashed some water on his hands for a couple seconds before putting on a new pair of gloves. I have restaurant experience and I know the proper hand washing procedures, but he didn't seem to care about that. Then as he's making my food he just put the vegetables on my sandwich with no care in the world, some spots had zero vegetables while others had more than enough, he didn't take the extra second to spread them evenly. Then I asked if he could please wrap both halfs separately and he said yes, but then proceeded to wrap it together until I reminded him. Then he took off the white paper and wrapped them in just the outer paper. He asked if I wanted a bag and I said yes but he didn't give me one, until I reminded him again. I have a lot of restaurant experience, and I believe this young man needs some serious correction. If I go back and he's there I will likely request someone else to prepare my food. If he's willing to do these things infront of people it makes me wonder what he's willing to do behind the scenes,...
Read moreAsked girl on duty to substitute Genoa for beef on a 12-inch Club and was told they weren't allowed to do that. I have eaten hat probably a dozen subways between South Tacoma North Tacoma Gig Harbor Port Orchard Bremerton and Silverdale and have never been turned down for that substitution couple times I was asked to pay which I don't mind doing but the young man that she asked about the substitution got a Grimace on his face and told her with me standing there I don't think we can do that had there not been three people standing behind me I would have asked him to call a manager and find out but my point is if I'm willing to pay for it they should be able to put buffalo on it if you have it in the store. I believe my Subway dates are over because there's a couple of Quiznos within a half a mile and there's many others in the area where I do the majority of my business and pleasure. It's such a great way to treat customers & a great way to get return customers! you guys need to hire a manager that's older than 13!! (The Safeway complex on TREMONT/Lund Ave)
