This is a great spot to grab some well made food and have a few drinks. The dining area is very clean. Immaculate even. The server/bartender that was working while I was here was very attentive and constantly making sure everything was the way it should be. When we needed refills she was right there, but otherwise left us alone to talk. I feel like a bunch of people are sleeping on this place, but the food here really is good. Maybe it just wasn't busy because we were catching a late lunch. If I had any complaint it's that their salsa is a little mild. But, I think most people in the area probably appreciate that. The server told me if I wanted something hotter they would accommodate. I feel like that is better than being served something that is too spicy and having to go without salsa or ask for something else. This is our second time in. The first time we were met with the most charming waiter who had great recommendations about the food. I can't say anything good enough about their chili rellano it is potentially the best thing this side of the Rockies! The mole is amazing and checks all the boxes for bring this side of heavenly. Now here's the down side to the praise... the second time in I decided to try the carne asada. While it was well cooked it lacked the flavor you would expect didn't have a roasted jalapeño or grilled green onions. Very disappointing for a $26 meal. Secondly we were here at least 15 minutes before a table of 6 as a table of 3 and got our food almost 15 mins later than they did. Really annoying considering we ordered 10 minutes before they did. If you’ve been searching for a REAL Mexican restaurant, look no further! Growing up in a state with an abundance of Mexican food, it’s been a struggle finding a place here in Port Orchard that doesn’t serve white people Mexican food with absolutely no flavor. This place is amazing! You can tell that the chef puts love into the food and actually tastes it before sending it out. Additionally, the service is impeccable in a time where most places don’t seem to care much anymore about quality, so refreshing. My order was remembered the second time I went there and over the phone even!
