Texas Roadhouse — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

Ok so April 16th I went to Texas Roadhouse with my mother . They were packed on a Wednesday night so the guy was outside taking people for a wait list . I went up and put my information down for the waitlist and the guy said 15 to 20 min because it was a table of 2 . I got a message at 6:04 pm saying 15 to 20 min . So my mother and I went and sat down , we were still waiting at 6:35 . It didn’t really bother me because they were busy . We waited till 7:00 at this point I was a little irritated because it was supposed to be 20 minutes but turned into a hr. When we finally went inside they told us to wait ten minutes , so we did only for our table to be right at the door , cleaned and ready for us to sit. when they finally realized that we were still waiting they said oh your table has been here the entire time. So we went and sat they brought us bread and we got our drinks . Our waitress i don’t remember her name came over and got our order because we didn’t get apps . We ordered the 8oz steak with a baked potato and salad , and my mom ordered the half rack of rib with a 6oz steak , sweet potato and salad . She told me the chefs would have to butterfly my steak . I told her do not let them do that i don’t like it like that . Well the manager came over telling us there was a miscommunication and they butterfly cut it and already had a new one cooking if this wasn’t cooked right . Well it wasn’t cooked right at all , so I ended up with a new one and 3 baked potatoes I never asked for btw. Well got our meals and the waitress never came back she would look at us and turn around for 30 minutes or more she never came back . We needed boxes are drinks were empty too . So my mom got up and got boxes and the waitress came over and asked if we wanted desert and that’s it no are you paying with cash bc ours has a kiosk now . Once we left my mom started feeling really sick we got home and she started puking her guts out . Next day April 17 th Thursday, she still was sick felt horrible was hot and blah still very nauseous and puky . I felt a little sick to but nothing like her I had a stomach ache this morning but felt way better through out the day . Later that night I went and ate the leftovers of my mom and right after I was puking my guts out to this is when I knew it was something with the food . Her food specifically so now at 1:14 in the morning on the 18th of April I am sick and puky to my mom has to Miss work because of how sick she is and I’m trying not to puke again . Horrible service and getting sick after not coming back...

Worst restaurant!!!

I am sorry to say this is not the place I would go. This horrible restaurant!!! The customer service is the worst in St. Lucie county.

My husband ordered lil bites kid's meal. The waitress charged us the wrong steak meal. We wanted the lil bites steak meal. The waitress bring my daughter the food. I said this doesn't looked like what we ask. She did not eat it. My husband and myself ordered.

The meal for us was okay. Nothing impressive. It a bit loud and annoying overall. We received so so service. We received our bill for our lunch. The bill show that the waitress made error and did in fact charge us for the wrong meal. We stated this did not look like what we ordered.

We asked if the manager could adjusted the price for what we wanted instead of what the waitress made her error. The waitress did not fact seem to care she put in the wrong ordered. The manager said no adjustment. However, the waitress screw up!! Did not explain to her supervisor how she put the orders on wrong.

From there we went to the another manager named Amber. She explained this was our first time and our waitress was in fact put our ordered in wrong. My daughter ate just fries no steak. It was not lil bites but a small steak. Amber proceeded to lie to our faces and accused us that we wanted to comp the meal. She was rude and nasty. Amber had no respect for us or tried to find a solution for the problem. Instead we wanted to argue she cared about her customers. This has to be the worst experience I have seen in St. Lucie. This is a manager who does not care about making the error correct. It's horrible to see people in charge of a restaurant who does not care about the customer service. Horrible customer service. Waitress not able to put in the correct ordered that you ask for.

Families beware as this is place will rip you off and not think twice. I can not understand their training or the mannerism which they feel is okay to not respect the customer. We are paying for our food. But should not be charge for the error of the waitress. Check and make sure because they will not fix there mistakes. The whole restaurant is a joke. The are better ones out there for steak and family get together s. Stay away as the supervisor Ms need more training in their skills and abilities to fix and make right. Amber needs to more training!! Definitely, needs to be fired!! Rude and argument I will not bother to come back. I let everyone know it's a hazard...

We've been waiting for this Texas Roadhouse to open for awhile, watching as it was built. And just this past Mon. (April 2019,) we finally had a minute to go and see if some of the opening kinks have been worked through. I'm pleased to report that we didn't notice any opening kinks, and if they have any then thier well hidden! As for the food? Well, after we waited for about 35 minutes (on a Monday!), for a table, you are encouraged to take a bag or handful of the FREE shelled Peanuts and then use, "the floor" to throw your empty shells! And after playing a couple FREE songs on thier Jukebox a very cute, perky hostess started to lead us to our table but before the table we took a quick pit stop at the, "Fresh Baked Bread" window and she asked if we wanted any, of course we did, they looked and smelled delicious and it was paired with housemade "Cinnamon Butter", yes!! We then ordered Potato Skins for an appetizer with extra sour cream and I have to say I was so happy to see these Skin's were smothered in Cheddar cheese and lot's of Bacon bites, soooo gooood! On to the Entrees, my roommate ordered one of the bigger Steaks with a side of Bbq Shrimp on a Kabob. His Steak was cooked perfectly at Med. Rare, and couldn't stop raving about the Shrimp! As for my dish, well I chose to try a Sandwich in which I chose the Bbq pulled Pork Sand. Served on a Sesame seeded large hamburger bun and they do NOT have Texas Toast instead, I know I asked, lol! And thruth be told, I did not like my "Pulled Pork" at all! Why? Well, let's see, there was perhaps a finger full of actual pulled pork, then there was a good amount of fat, yes, I know that's expected but this had too much and then there were a couple huge chunks of pork that DIDN'T Shred I had to cut up with a knife and fork and oddly enough, the 1 thing I was worried about, (the sesame bun) was actually my (only) thing I liked about this Sand. Plus, the dill Pickle Spear that accompanies it, tasted terrible! So, needless to say, everything was on point except the Pork Sand. But, I will tell you if your lucky enough to get our Waitress, Ayleen, then you will have an excellent dining experience I promise! And if it's your 1st time here just know that along with your Dinner you'll be treated to a Show! No spoilers, just go and have a great time! That's what we did on a Monday Night, we are...
