I don’t typically leave bad reviews but when I deal with terrible customer service while placing my order on the phone, I start to question. Friend have told me about this place so I decided to stay in and order out. When I first picked up the phone I was put on hold 3 times. No problem, I have worked in food service so I just assumed they were busy. Once I finally spoke with the woman on the phone, she visibly was rushing my order. I even asked her for the price and to review my order because she displayed major uncertainty. My order came up to $43 dollars and I tipped the driver $6. Of course my garlic teriyaki wings came with just a lot of oil and minimum to none garlic and of course NO teriyaki sauce . When I called back to let them know, unfortunately the same woman that took my order, picked up again. I told her about the mixup and she completely disregarded me and let me know that they can bring teriyaki sauce at a charge. That definitely struck my nerve. How dare she? I just tipped your driver and had to deal with your order taking nonsense and this is the customer service I get? When I asked to speak to a manager. She told a man named Brad this, “This lady didn’t get the right sauce on her order, I told her we would deliver at a charge but she still wants to speak to manager, what you want me to do?” First of all, referring me as “this lady” as I’m patiently awaiting for you is pretty rude especially since I can hear the negative tone of voice. Brad told her to let me know that the owner was on their way back from the bank and would call me back. I am now waiting for a call back. The only thing I need to say is that the woman on the phone will cause you to lose a lot of business. For the price of the food, no one should have to deal with this bulls*....
Read moreDined in on 8/7/23 with my beautiful Fiancée, found this place on google, saw the reviews were decent and decided to give this place a try. We had a medium cheese pizza, chicken parm, garlic knots and a side salad with house dressing. The pizza was okay, I'd say it's about average for the area as far as pizzerias go, though you can tell it's definitely not a chain style pizza, flavor was good, though I asked for extra cheese it was difficult to determine if they added extra cheese or not and the end crust was puffy so good and was served hot and fresh. Fiancée says the chicken parm was amazing, the chicken was the crown jewel of the meal, the spaghetti portion was average and their sauce was more of a slight spicy style which also was served hot and fresh. The garlic knots when ordered came out fairly fast which was a little bit of a concern believing that it wouldn't be too fresh which my hunch came to reality when we realized after the first bite that they were hardly warm at all, luke warm at best? Side salad was average. Table service was decent, very attentive however, it's self serve drinks which in my opinion is a little strike towards the overall score due to the fact you gotta get up when glasses are empty to refill while eating a very filling meal "Though this is the lazy self speaking". The atmosphere was alright, slightly modern with the pizzeria Italian type vibe, better than most other places like this in the area however during our visit they had 80's hits playing which was fine however the volume was a little too high for our taste. To sum it up, we'd go back again if we were in the immediate area however not particularly a craving...
Read moreSince I felt I had participated in eating a delicious Frank and Al's pizza at my brother's and his wife's house when I first moved here toward the end of 2021, I thought I would give Frank and Al's another shot because I became hungry enough for all that food. I specifically came to the store Wednesday night. At first, I thought the store was closed early because the Frank and Al sign on the building was not lighted. I saw someone else go in so I finished parking my car. As someone else in another review brought up, it was not clear where to stand to order and the employee behind the counter was not that helpful either. I ordered a 14" veggie pizza. I wanted pizza even though there were other possibly tempting choices. Maybe tempting. How would I know? So as I sat there waiting for my order, I noticed the guys who were making the orders were eating the ingredients. ARE THEY ALLOWED TO EAT ON THE JOB LIKE THAT??? That included eating out of the shredded cheese bin. WHAT? Maybe I could have had some of that fine Italian cheese on my pizza but a guy was eating out of the bin instead of putting the cheese on my pizza. Also while I sat there waiting, something there smelled bad to me which was a turnoff as was the hip hop music. The NFL Network was on the TV but I couldn't hear that.I liked having a hot pizza at home. After eating this pizza,I decided I would go back to Costco pizza because they use a nice spicy sauce and the crust is delicious. Sorry. It is a bit disturbing to see the Frank and Al's employees eating on the job especially in these pandemic times and isn't that a no-no whether it is a...
