Wild Side Pawn and Jewelry — Local services in Port Saint Lucie

Fell upon rough times and needed cash for a new AC system to avoid having to take out a loan since I was only about 1 grand short and was about to have a credit pull due to a mortgage refi. Went to pawn a couple high end laptops that I use professionally as a Software Engineer and immediately upon walking in, I was dismissed. Now I understand that these shops need to make a profit, but if I'm bringing in 3 laptops/PCs all valued at $1500 each, c'mon now. Was basically told 2022 was obsolete.

Anyways, to make it even worse, I also tried to pawn some jewelry and was told they could do a couple hundred.

Fast forward 30 minutes and I go to Colorado Pawn on PSL Blvd. One of the gentlemen there used to be in IT as well and immediately offered me about a grand knowing the value of the gear I had brought in. They also offered me $600 for the jewelry after actually checking whether it was a real diamond or lab created.

Never recommending this place to anyone, I get you can't be an expert on all items but they were just so dismissive right...

My experience here was nothing short of incredible. Me and my family met Linsey while looking to sell a ring a few weeks ago, and after her giving us the best price we’ve found after going to several shops and pawns, we came back to sell it about a week or so later, and after offering us $550 originally, she gave us $575 just for coming back to her to sell it, I myself was eyeing a ring since I first walked into the shop, and the price was $175 but she was able to offer me $125 after reducing the price. Then today when I came back she was able to give it to me for $100. I just want to start off by saying thank you so much for the amazing help and effort that was put forth between all of whom helped me today when I came in to sell my old items for some immediate cash. Times have been very rough for me and Lindsey was absolutely amazing at getting me the most value for the belongings I brought in, along with being a listening ear with my hard times that I shared with her and understanding that I needed some help when I came in.
