This used to be the best shop that I had been going to for years, but since the new owners took over, it's just been slowly going downhill for years until now where it's just a shadow of its former self. I can only speak for Magic The Gathering events, but they overcharge for entry, have terrible prize support and are incredibly stingy with the amount of promo packs they give out. WHY DO YOU HAVE PROMO PACKS FROM LIKE 6 SETS AGO LEFT OVER!? GIVE THEM AWAY LIKE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO!!! They loath events that make them stay even slightly late if matches run long and have now started banning people from the store who even slightly question their logic or reasoning behind the moves they're making. They don't care about the loyalty of their more enfranchised customers and only want to do what is easiest for them. I cashed out all my credit and will never be returning to this store under current ownership. They've killed the competitive magic community in the area because they're impossible to work with and deeply unpleasant people to be around. If you only ever been here, go to Prodigy Games to see what a card shop can be when the owners care and try to do what's best for their customers. The difference is...
Read morein all honesty i dont get to go Treasure Coast Magic as much as I would like, however when i do I make sure to make it counts. Why you ask? Well everytime Im there the staff and ownership provides an experience that feels genuinely wholesome, friendly...They make me feel like FAMILY. They provide an experience that has been lost in the commercial world for some time. Every time im in there they ask about me and how im feeling and how ive been, about my kids and job. What it comes down to it they are real people and that is why I will always come back. That is why even the few times i may have had to pay higher for a single card or two than what i could get online or else where the experience makes up for it. They have a wonderfull selection and even when they dont have what i need the staff tries to find another solution. So take it from me ..Treasure Coast Magic is a Treasure in its own. Lets not take for granted there are still wholesome family oriented places...
Read moreI’ve been to this location several times and after my recent visit on 5/23 I will never go back. Beside the two people working there, I was the only person in the store. I asked the guy behind the counter if he can look up some magiccards for me. I could tell by his attitude and demeanor that he didn’t want to help of be bothered by me. He asked he many cards and I said 12. He responded that he can only look up 5. He claims the store has millions of.cards but has told me that they don’t have a system for customers to look up cards or order cards before hand. I went in looking to spend some money on cards I needed, but instead I grabbed 5 of the inexpensive magic cards I needed and a collector booster pack and left. Even when I asked about the collector boosters he seemed annoyed. I’ll take my business to another places and will be telling friends don’t bother...
