Is this a joke? Really thought cameras were going to come out and say we were being pranked.. When I say this is the worst shop in the state, I don't mean that with any exaggeration. It's the worst shop of any kind, not just ski shop. We spent 20 minutes in here, and not a single employee approached us or said a word. One older guy with a goatee said something to the one other customer that was in, and he was so rude to them, they stormed out. We came to look at used skis, which they claimed to have a selection of. The "selection" amounted to a handful of junk skis that local resorts deemed too beat up to rent out, that they threw in a pile against the wall. If that sounds comically lazy, it gets better... The prices maked on them, were litteraly more than they sell for new. That also isn't an exaggeration. I found a pair of trashed skis they actually had the nerve to mark for $450... They sell brand new online, with the exact same bindings, and shipping to my door, for $430... This place defines what a weasel business is. Just drive up to Scott's or Play It Again in GR. It's worth the drive to avoid wasting...

The owner wouldnt honor the deal they posted publicly online which brought me in, and wasted my time. I hope my negative review and experience drives away $100 in business since they need a lesson in customer service and shouldn't mislead people, I hope it was worth it for them. Update: I got a notice this has over 1000 views, hope the owners understand that the customer is always right, and that not honoring a posted website cost is wrong. Read moreI purchased a Malone kayak carrier about 2 months ago. It became apparent that I selected the wrong rack for my needs. I went back to buy another rack that would accentuate my first purchase and was told it was on back order. No worries. My problem. Call me when it gets in. The next day I got a text from Rhet. He told me that the owner inquired from the vendor and there was no reasonable ETA. So he offered to take my already used carrier, credit me 100% back my cost and apply that to a new two kayak carrier system. It would overall cost me an extra $10! I said deal. When I went down to make the exchange they just made it washout even! Who does that sort of thing?! I’m a life long customer now of Uncle Jib’s. Great job...
