I was passing through the city and had halted for a night at a nearby hotel. Craving for some Indian food, This came up on my google search. With absolutely no expectation, we went to this place. This has to be one of the best Indian food I have eaten in USA. Although they were a bit short staffed on the night which they even acknowledged, I am compelled to ignore it for the scrumptious food. Ordered Chicken curry, rice, naan , roti, masala chai and a kulfi. The chicken curry is like how you’d get at your home, requested for spicy and they delivered it. I could taste the ginger and garlic in the sauce and it was wonderful. You should try it. Rice was fluffy and non oily. It was the perfect accompaniment to the spicy curry. Raita had hints of mint making it a cooling treat. My only regret was the kulfi, it was the kulfi you get in Indian store so nothing from the restaurant. Masala Chai was good too. If you are in the vicinity, you should definitely visit here.

Their formula is very simple here, delicious Indian food and attentive service. This was my second visit and today I took both my daughters and granddaughters who are two and almost three. The lemon biryani rice with mushrooms masala was delicious, as was the eggplant and vindaloo. The buffet is a deal for the selection and food quality, only $15. There were five delicious vegetarian dishes, butter chicken, curry chicken, chili chicken and roasted tandoori chicken with fresh baked naan. And they made my granddaughter a fresh mango smoothie for $3. If you like Indian food and or fresh made food with flavor, you’ve got to try this little gem. Flavor Bomb Score 🔥🔥🔥🔥

My wife and I came to Indian Delight on a Saturday evening in June. I was expecting a buffet from the search results but it was after buffet hours. There is a variety of meat and vegetarian options. We went with the chicken curry and lamb tiki Marsala with garlic Naan. I was a little apprehensive because lamb and goat can be tough to chew. This was AMAZING, the lamb was tender and the chicken melts in your mouth. We were able to select the heat level of each dish. About halfway through the meal, my wife gave me an eye and let me know she doesn't love the misogynistic behavior. Then noted that the waitress exclusively addressed me, a tall handsome man.

This is such an amazing restaurant! The environment is clean and nicely decorated and spacious. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant and did a fine job. The table service was excellent. And the food was excellent as well! They have a very large menu with so many options. Looks like certain times they also have a buffet. I was thrilled to find the lamb pasanda on their menu. This is my favorite Indian dish and I have not found it at an Indian restaurant in 10 years. And I was very pleased that they made it the best way! Also I really liked the way they cook the lamb in it. A lot of times when you get lamb it's full of fat, super fatty. But theirs didn't really have any fat on it. So I really liked the healthier way they prepared it. The portion sizes were great and the sauces were all very smooth and thick and delicious. Every single thing we ordered off their menu was delicious and outstanding. We have been to the other Indian restaurants in Kalamazoo many times so we can easily compare. We didn't even realize this one was there, it's a newer restaurant. We can confirm that this restaurant has the best food and the best service of any of the Indian restaurants in Kalamazoo, and without a doubt, any of the Indian restaurants we have ever been to. Such a gem to have this restaurant an hour away from us. We'll be coming back as...

I went there for their lunch buffet today. My biggest turnoff is the temperature of the food. The appetizers were cold, and I wonder how long has it been sitting there. The flavor of the food were good, I would've give it another star if the food were warmer. The rice is cold to the touch and the sauce of the food were luke warm at best. I like my food steaming hot where it tasted fresh, with the cold food, I feel like I'm eating my leftovers. My suggestion to the owner is to keep the lid on all the trays, except for the nan bread and appetizers. The nan and appetizers are easy and quick so keep just enough so they are hot. Nothing worse than cold...
