A month ago I went for a preventive checkup that is covered a 100% by my insurance. Even after stating to the doctor that I did not want any labs ordered that would not be covered as a preventive checkup, and I did this several times during my interaction with her, she went and ordered labs. Since the patient cannot see the order, I received a bill when my results came up. At that moment I realized she ordered something else even after I told her lots of times that I was there for a preventive and did not want anything else. After a month calling billing and other departments with no results or answers to my disputes, I will have to end up paying for this. I think its not fair and even unethical to get an imposed bill and they dont even have any personnel or department where you can officially dispute this. When you get labs ordered there, you are better off asking for the lab codes and verifying with your insurance so you can avoid a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had arrived a little late because of circumstances with my home life. The gentleman at the desk was very polite towards me, and even informed me that I would have had a video appointment, which Iāve had help with before, but am not very familiar with on my phone. He had taken it upon himself to call the Dr. and had him just call me after offering me a place to talk in the corner of the waiting room. He had then came out and checked if I had received the call yet, and went back to assure that I did. My doctorās assistant then promptly assisted me with everything I needed and came for. He suggested that I have an in person follow up appointment. By the time I had got home, I already had an appointment made and waiting for my approval. As long as I approved of the date and time, I had nothing else to do. Very professional staff, service, and ways of getting things done. Thanks for starting my day right. Itās appreciated....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUW Childrenās Hospital Emergency Room- we will NEVER take our child to UW Childrenās hospital ER ever again. We received the worst care by a health professional we have ever seen. We were judged and WRONGLY diagnosed BEFORE either doctor stepped in the room to evaluate our child. We only brought him to the ER because our primary physician couldnāt see him for several days and recommended we head directly to an emergency room. We have since had a chance to see our primary care physician and confirmed we were given the wrong diagnosis and apologized to over and over again for the poor care (or lack of care) we received. The doctors we saw at the Childrenās Hospital ER should be ashamed of their actions; standing at the door to address us, making 2 wrong diagnoses without examination, suggesting a virus was going to kill our child because we have...
