Amendment: Although at first my friend, who had taken in her items to geek Tech twice before, was very disappointed in how she was treated this one time, she is now extremely happy with the way the staff has responded to this issue and the quickness of their response and polite manner. I went with her, with my two children who are also very tech-savvy, to make sure that everything was above par and that she understood how everything was working. The staff was very polite and very courteous as she spoke and explained everything to both of us. This wonderful woman did not crumble under pressure but rather had a very pleasant smile. Thank you Geek Tech for fixing this issue. I know my friend will be looking forward to coming back, as will I. Previously: No my friend is not tech savvy. She actually needs a lot of help. Where better to take it than Geek Tech, right? Wrong. Sad to say she was yelled at, which of course, is beyond rude. She took it in with a minor problem and came out with it completely broken. A tech savy person would of turned it on, right there, in front of them. No, she took it home and when she went to use it, had a broken iPad completely. Went back to Geek Tech and was blamed for dropping it. She paid for a service just to be treated that badly? Why? I love getting good service and giving good reviews. But I will be looking for a management web site to complain AND make sure I go with my friend. I'd love to see the CCTV footage, but I doubt that's public accessible, to see how the Tech Team treated her. He told me it would be around $200 and I was like okay not too bad. He told me it would take around a week for it to be finished and that heāll call me. A week passes by and they call me telling me that my screen is definitely broke and they will order a new screen and they raised my price to $300. So it took them a week for them to tell my screen is broken?? I already knew that. I remained calm and waited another week and they called me to tell me that it would be $400 because they order āappleā products. Basically at the end of the MONTH. In total I paid $600. The price went from $200 to $600! I will definitely will not be returning to this place. My screen was definitely replaced but there is gaps where I can see the light peeking through... the people were nice but kept raising the price $100 every phone call I would receive.

It had water damage (was working great before I put isopropyl into it for extra cleaning). The screen wasn't coming on but the soft keys and charming indicator were lighting up. Before I went into the store I took my photos off of my phone by plugging it into my laptop. So I leave my phone there and the next day I go to pick it up. They tell me that my phone is deemed worthless and unusable. So I take the walk of shame and return home with my paperweight. Well, I decide to tear into my phone myself because what do I have to lose? I took my s6 apart and messed around with the lcd and midframe. Low and behold, my screen comes on and look perfect. My sound works. The charging works. Everything works except the digitizer. My touch wasn't responding. SO all I need is to replace my phone with a new digitizer. This company told me my phone was useless. Oh! And they took my sticky adhesive from the back panel and didn't replace it. So now I'm left with a phone that the back panel doesn't even stay in place.
