Me and the gf took her dog for a walk through the park. It was a nice change from walking around the block. The park was pretty clean with people using it for various reasons. There was one woman who was on a blanket barking and yelling at everyone that walked by. She didn't seem friendly. There were two men building a small cooking fire near the building to watch the children swim. I'm hoping someone said something so they'd move. An Amazon driver was on a bench taking his break. It was nice to see him get a little relaxation before delivery the all important consuming needs that drive Oregonians. A man with some gray, 50s(?), was having his few hours a week with his young daughter at the park. He maintained direct eye contact with my gfs backside whenever we passed him. We were happy to give a single father a cheap thrill, they deserve it. The park was pretty clean and tidy. Overall, a pretty fair visit,...

I've grown up around Mt. Scott Park and it has changed quite a bit. Going isn't as safe as it once was. There are violent children and adults that sometimes come around, but as long as you're with a couple other people you should be fine. I don't advice going to this park by yourself unless you're ready to deal with weird or violent people. (This also depends on the amount of people at the park) All in all i love this park and have grown up with it, so i have very fond memories of playing on the tire swing and watching movies outdoors on the baseball field. Portland has just become more unsafe with all the interesting people moving here, and the startling slurs some kids call others. In summary it's a great park, but be very wary of...

Wonderful place to take the kids on a day off. The pool can be crowded at times but my kids love the rope swing and the slide. The active pass is affordable for a family on a budget. At $67 a month for a family of 6, it is a nice place to tire out the kids without breaking the bank. They also have a gym and a big basketball court indoors so regardless of the weather it's fun for the kids. Lots of different hours to work with any schedule. The family swim is less crowded and is great for families with younger kids. I would recommend this place for anyone with kids. If you are looking for a one day activity it's not bad on price either, adults are $6, teens are $5 and young kids are $4...

Handicap-friendly and on TriMet line # 10 Harold, this serene bit of forest in SE Portland is my favorite Portland park. The Community Center is welcoming and clean, with a swimming pool and public restrooms. This is a perfect place for a picnic and a game of tennis, with a lovely stroll along the paved paths among the well-grown trees. A gem in the neighborhood, near to restaurants and other establishments.

This park is so beautiful. The massive trees that litter the place provide tons of shade and a pretty mesmerizing view when you look up. There's a cute little play area where there's almost always kids playing so your little ones won't be bored either. There's barbecuing and what seems to be a little clubhouse although I haven't actually been inside. Very cool place though!

Came here for an easter event. The park was accommodating to kids of all ages. Lots of spaces to sit and eat. Just wish there was more than one restroom, there was a long long line. The park is next to a busy road which made me a little nervous. But overall a great place to take the kids and in the summer they have a indoor pool and outdoor water fountain splash pad area.
