I recently had the pleasure of attending a team-building meeting for the Multnomah County Public Health Department at Mr. Ok Essentials in the vibrant Alberta Arts district, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience!

From the moment we entered, the inviting atmosphere of Mr. Ok Essentials set the tone for a creative and engaging day. The space is beautifully designed, with a warm and welcoming ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. It's the perfect blend of a cozy workshop and a charming storefront, showcasing a variety of handcrafted candles that are as visually stunning as they are aromatic.

Our host was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the art of candle making. They guided us through the process with enthusiasm, ensuring that everyone felt included and inspired. The hands-on experience was not only fun but also a fantastic way to foster teamwork and collaboration among our staff. It was delightful to see everyone tapping into their creativity and enjoying the process of crafting unique candles together.

The quality of the materials provided was top-notch, and the selection of scents available allowed each of us to create a personalized candle that truly reflected our individual tastes. The entire experience was well-organized, and we left with not only our beautiful creations but also cherished memories of a day spent bonding with colleagues in a unique setting.

It has taken me entirely too long to write this review… but as I am basking in the coziness from the aroma of my candles, I felt like it is time to share. Let me start with… THIS IS NOT THAT! The Owner: Precious invites you into her shop with a smile & a genuine kindness that makes you want to return time after time after time. You walk in as a complete stranger & you leave feeling like you’ve found a new friend. Her energy is so captivating that what you think is going to be a brief visit, will easily turn into a few hours. The Candles: These are not your typical lavender, rainy day, vanilla & fruity scents. These are fond memories in a vessel, these are feelings & emotions wrapped up in aromas, these are moods & vibes. These are moments that you create for yourself & others. Your home will smell amazing and you will feel like you’re being embraced into a tight hug. It smells inviting & cozy. It feels luxurious. Simply put… this is not that. My favorite scents: Empathy, Orange Moon & Bachelor Pad. You also have the option to create your own candle or as I like to call it, an experience in a vessel. The Others: Room sprays, body butters, soaps… these just complete the experience; They are the perfect compliments. So look… I said a lot. We stopped in after having brunch next door, and love the overall vibe of the space, the product and the owner. There was a great product offering for anything you might need to level up your scent and vibe at home! We purchased moisturizer, a candle, room spray and lip balm- all are high quality products at great value. If you want well crafted and yummy/ unique scents at a friendly price point I recommend you visit! Precious also offers maker experiences where you can pour your own candle. Will definitely be setting up an appointment as a fun girl's day out. Over all, an unbeatable experience. My only regret was not purchasing more- needless to say I will be returning...
